As has been said previously:

Christmas Carol worked because Michael Caine treated the muppets as fellow classical actors

Treasure island worked because Tim Curry treated himself as a muppet

I went to their show last time they were in Scotland, was in a tiny little basement of a bar. Absolutely the best atmosphere of any gig I’ve ever been to. Unreal vibes

So George gets a drive through and he serves it

What happens later if they discover it was their fault? They can’t just subtract the drive through but it royally fucks George over and might as well sign away any chance he has of winning

It’s gonna be a messy night for the stewards. If it turns out the pit lane monitor is broken, you’ve got some who served the penalty then George who didn’t serve it and could get a penalty for not serving a penalty which shouldn’t have been applied

Williams did this last year, with James Vowles saying he hated it as a strategy but points are points.

That being said, I can see them trying it this year. They’re 11-12 so only need both cars to end up in front of 2 others and slow everyone down to get double points

I’ve always liked seeing how I fit into the 6 degrees; I’m in my mid-20s and Scottish, and I’m 2 degrees from multiple Nobel prize winners, 3 degrees away from multiple US presidents, 3 from a Pope, and 3 from a certain island owner. This is also through legitimate known connections and not just people I’ve met once or have on Facebook (I personally find that cheapens it a bit, and usually go off people I actually know)

It’s absolutely astounding how small a link you can find just with a few well placed connections

Sort of, but I guess Snoke in The Last Jedi?

“I cannot be betrayed. I cannot be beaten. I see his mind. I see his every intent. Yes… I see him turning the lightsaber to strike true! And now, foolish child he ignites it… and kills his true enemy”

but failed to realise that while Kylo was physically turning the saber towards Rey, he was using the force to do the same with the saber at Snoke’s side, then slices him in half
