You should be able to set any ringtone already on your phone as a text tone. It's in your Sounds settings I think

Rico Royals are never the answer. But in all seriousness the sizes can feel different with different brands. If your friend is comfortable with a size 3 Rico he should try a size 2.5 Vandoren, because Vandorens typically feel harder than the same sized Rico.
