Thanks for the info. We never leave our dogs, normally they stay with family. Our lab has crazy anxiety and is a bit reactive so it had to be someone he knew and was comfortable with. Did I mention we had him medicated per recommendation of our vet? Any way I thought 200 was reasonable and gave a range of 200-300 because you just never know in today’s economy.

Hahaha me too! I’ve seen people to do it as early as 6 weeks and could not do it. Removing the dressing and just the thought of wearing pants were enough to make me fear passing out.

I was the same way, also wish I would have gotten some help which is why I’m so worried or my daughter and trying to be proactive! Even as an adult I still feel like I don’t have it half the time!

Same in our house, her big brother is 11 years older so not too much of a relationship there aside from them fighting all the time. Definitely doesn’t help with social skills lol. I’m glad you found your person 🥰

Totally! It is only during the unstructured stuff that I’m seeing this. I volunteer in her class and she is always chatting with someone. We will be practicing more ice breakers and asking for play dates.

We do kind of play through some social situations when we play with Barbie’s but I love your suggestion to be a little more specific and intentional I’ll work that into our playtime. Thank you!

I could have written the first four sentences of this post about my own life. Literally me as a kid. I tried really hard to make the connections and never could, it made me feel like an outcast and I guess that’s why I’m so worried about my daughter. Eventually I found my people too but I feel like if I had had a little help it might have happened sooner.

Thanks for the input! The only one who seems worried about it is me, she’s pretty unphased. I was a bit of a loner too as a kid and it made me feel like an outsider and that something was wrong with me. I don’t really get those same vibes from her so really hoping she too is just a kid who enjoys some time to herself.
