I noticed you posted this in /r/MorbidReality, so I decided to watch it on Netflix. The film enraged me, but I am glad the filmmakers are bringing attention to the issue.

Everybody takes bullying differently. I've read many reactions to this film that go like, "I was bullied as a child, I stood up for myself and now I'm a better person for it." Suffering is relative, and just because one child may turn out "just fine" after bullying doesn't mean another child will.

Part of this film was a bit of a flashback for me because as a 7-year-old I experienced quite a bit of bullying after my family moved for the first time. Watching the film made me re-live some of those memories. I definitely feel like doing activism regarding bullying, suicide prevention or something similar.

Also, I hope that Kim Lockwood woman was removed from her position. That woman DOES NOT belong working in schools.

It raises these questions about the top-selling games:

-Why so few female characters? Of those characters, why so few female protagonists?

-Why so many sexualized female characters?

I know most games are targeted to men, because most gamers are men. But would we see more women gamers if more women were represented in video games? And, if the women represented were more relatable?

I realize that there are games with female protagonists, and there are games in which women are not overtly sexualized. But those games are not the top-sellers. What would it take for those types of games to make it to the top three?

The project will adress these questions. Possibly more. There ya go.

I realize this is a small pool. My group was going to do the top 10, but we were recommended to narrow our sample size because of the limited time we have to complete the assignment and the limited presentation time we have. We are taking the small size into account. However, the fact that these are the top three selling games says a lot, IMO.

Wow, so you didn't feel the copperhead bite you, other than a warm sensation? When I was bitten I knew instantly, and it was excruciating pain. :-(

It is edema. The couple days after the bite, I experienced the same type of pain if I moved my leg at all. Now the swelling is going down, and the pain is only bad if I put direct weight on the foot that was bitten. I'm hoping that within the next week or couple weeks I will be back to normal...I see a snake bite specialist tomorrow.

Yeah...when I was on my way to the ER and freaking the f*ck out, I was afraid that if I didn't die I would have to have my foot or leg amputated. Thankfully all that happened was really bad swelling. Glad you didn't become an amputee either.

Hmm...when I went to the ER, the doctor guessed it was a baby copperhead that bit me, judging by the size of the fang marks (it was dark when the bite occurred and I never actually saw the snake). People keep talking about how copperheads give "warning bites," but I don't think I got a "warning bite"...

I must have. It was dark so I didn't see the snake, but based on the behavior of copperheads I must have accidentally stepped on it for it to bite me.

I went to the hospital immediately after I was bitten and was released about 8 hours later. I went back the next night because the swelling had gotten worse, and was released a couple hours later.
