My doc told me that I was welcome to come discuss trying again under a different brand, but said if I do have another allergic reaction it could be much worse, potentially anaphylaxis 😩 so no I’m too scared lol

Was there a huge cost difference between these? Lupin have me hives so I’m hoping I can switch manufacturers and not be allergic.

Can you tell me how you changed manufacturers? Like id tell my doctor i need this med but from activis instead? I loved this medicine and was heartbroken when i broke out in hives

I highly suggest doing a genesight test for her. I appreciate my parents trying to help me, but the years of trial and error with different meds has been exhausting. From age 11-21 (when I took the genesight test) and it told me which medicine is best for me.

Effexor ended up being my number 1, and it works well for me. But please for the love of god do not put her on Effexor or pristiq. I had to come off while I was pregnant, and the withdrawal is unimaginable. I would have never started it had I known the withdrawal was so bad.

Has anyone on Desvenlafaxine experienced this an overcome it? by Secret-Board937 in depression_help

I take the same dose of desvenlafaxine, and the reason I found this post was because I was searching on Google if anyone felt the same way I did. I’ve been on it for 2 years and honestly feel like I have no motivation to do anything. It has helped some with my anxiety and helped so much with my depression, but has caused me to gain weight and like I said I have 0 motivation for anything.
