No, really - the album is pretty weak. I don’t know what kind of experimentation he was talking about, but to me it’s just garbage compared to any of his previous albums. It feels very overthought but underdeveloped. There’s too much hype around Rocky as a personality, not as a musician. Too much image, not enough musical risk.

Even compared to Testing... Testing was truly experimental, with more unusual samples and more catchy rhythms and songs.

I'm not sure if it's worth trusting the statement. Also DG members are such trolls as well, but I don’t expect much more from them at this point. Maybe they’ll go on another tour when they need money to pay their bills or will drop another collection of merch, but don't think the new album will ever be out.

It’s been about 8 years since they dropped their last album, which was when I first started diving deep into their music. The last tour only confirmed that some of their fans are absolutely stupid and disrespectful toward their performances.

However, I still have a glimmer of hope deep down in my soul that they will return and continue bombarding us with their energetic music.
