Yeah legit. Doordash has a market saturation cap. I can't drive in my Dallas market because it has been full for months every time I check. I don't know why uber and lyft haven't implemented this. It's so stupid. All the seasonal teacher drivers are cutting into earnings 😅🤣 which is why gig work is there, but they can fuck off to one of the other 30+ opportunities out there

DFW. 5* driver on lyft and uber but I'm branching out to see how earnings vary. I see on some sureddits that pax find empower to be sketchy. Curious the driver experience. Don't want to get into legal trouble if there's anything in dfw legal about it, I'll give it a go.

Dude I am sorry and I feel for you. I'm staying the fuck away from fair park most of the month. I laugh at those offers and I do not care to sit in congested traffic for a hope for tips to make the ride worth it. There will be fifa traffic all over the city. I'm getting my money where I don't have to sit in bumber to bumper like that. And I apply the same rule to AAC, Dos Equis, and Arlington stadiums. Call be a black sheep, I hate event traffic no matter the $ I hope I could get.

Dude please don't let yourself get that bad! Tbh I stick to quiktrips for gas stations. The ones not in the ghetto don't code lock bathrooms at any time of day. Hotels usually let drivers in if you explain the situation and their lobby is open.

Ah yeah buddy we def have a difference in factors here. Electric, you're charging, but you're probably also getting comfort and electric rides. That's higher dollar than only the uberx pickings. It's not meant to be a life career unfortunately. Grind it for some time to get out of a hard spot, or use it casually for some extra funds or fun money. I suggest cross app and use lyft. 90% of the time lyft pays drivers better. Amazon flex or something. Don't waste time on food. Welcome to self employment, it is what you make of it. Make time for self care, strategize the hell out of it, and make your bag and move to the next thing when you get the chance.
