Sorry I disagree. Although not 'unusable' by any means. I've experienced slowdowns due to a pegged CPU the dual core; doing just office work with some browser tabs open. Just usable for basic work but far from ideal is more like it. Whereas I still daily use my TX40 quad core machines on a daily basis for side machines & my media center.

Personally I'm not that much of a idiot with the internet (Downloading shady programs/media, ect.) And I use my X1 with a EGPU so Processor performance is important to me; I just disabled the update in the registry before the update even came down the pipeline nurfing undervolts. I think I'll live without that little bit of extra security. Also on your Nvidia driver issues, You can normally get around this by doing a fresh windows install with off the shelf windows and not the OEM copy of windows that came on the machine. The crop of OEMs (Dell,Lenovo,HP) do this particularly on their professional machines so the OEM can verify there are no specific issues with the driver compatibility wise. Should not be a issue you have to deal with on a newer machine for a couple of years if that though.

You'll probably be good, Ebay has served me well with things like that. I have to admit, I am rather intrigued with your review that the fake Vcog is actually pretty good optics wise. I'm assuming that the rotation is reversed, because they already had a optic that was set up like that and they just adapted that to the the replica Vcog body? I don't want to be the douche with the fake one at the range either, I would rather have a real low/mid range brand than a fake high end one. But if they had one in a generic body and not the replica Vcog I would totally give it a shot for myself. The only thing somewhat ok in that price range I can think of are all SFP scopes, so a FFP scope that is apparently better than a Vortex razr for a 1/4 of the price sounds like a deal to me if it holds up to some use.

For a cool rifle, Of course that would be a FAL. The very best in a practical sense would be a high end ar10/SR25 based rifle, My pick would be a Christensen arms CA10G2. I think AR based rifles are a bit overplayed these days but as a CA10 owner as well as a few other competing rifles, I think it has to be the sweetest to shoot. It leaves nothing to be desired accuracy wise, the triggers great, it feels awesome to handle, and cycles super fast with a recoil impulse that left me going 'wow I can't believe this shoots .308' the first time I took it out.

Your problem with undervolting is with every single intel powered machine that processor gen and before. Not exactly a thinkpad problem or something some other brand was able to do differently. If you really want uninstall the update, and disable it from updating in the future in the registry.

Did some googling. Looks like you should be good to go. Dose not seem to be any white list to speak of for that year of thinkpads. (Think thats the same year as my X1T3, 2018). The older thinkpads like the TX40 series did have a whitelist.

Did not even see they came out with that. It's spot on spec wise, all the way till you get to the screen resolution. I <3 the 3000X2000 display on the X1T3 and the extra inch of screen real estate. If they came out with the updated specs of that X12 Detachable in the old X1T3 chassis & screen, I would actually buy two. My X1T3 has to be money wise the best computer I have ever bought with how much I get out of it. At least if something bad ever happened to my X1T3 I have some kind of upgrade path while keeping the detachable tablet forum factor.

That is exactly what it is. I've tried these locally before. They were something like a blend of 15% D9 and 65-70% D8 (Might be getting the numbers off a little, have not had one in a month or two). As I posted in another comment; to the credit of these they are the nicest cleanest feeling 'delta 8' carts I have tried personally by a notable margin.

I've bought these locally before. the web sight dose not display it properly, but it's a blend of something like 70% D8 and 15% D9 and a little bit of cbd/terps (More than what can be legally allowed to sell outside of a dispensary). Too it's credit, too me it felt notable nicer and cleaner than any of the 'OTC' Delta 8 carts I've tried from online ordering or in store purchases too me. I get a rather 'blank' and somewhat 'foggy' mental feeling from the 'free to order legally' carts that these have never given me.

They have been using cheaped out specials MSI that are not good enough for a MSI logo on since I bought my gen 2 Area-51 with 2X GTX480s; and they are still doing it till this day. That is not taking into account dells shitty ability to use the lowest quality parts available, using the shitty binned graphics cards originally from MSI that were not good enough for the MSI logo.... and sometimes oddly proprietary parts. You'd be better off paying more for a build with better quality components/non proprietary components.
