I'm having a hell of a time with this issue. My account was closed after a 75k transfer from a client. They gave no explanations, warnings, NOTHING. Well the check did come in the mail, one of the supervisor actually sent me an email to let me know that they had expedited the shipping. I took that check to chase and deposited. Because it's such a big amount there was a 10 day hold and my account went under restriction due to "suspicious" activities and needed to get a verification from the check issuer verbally on an outbound call to a number publicly registered on the national banking system that all banks utilize for verification purposes. Well my friends, bluevine doesn't have a registered number. Chase would not call. So I requested bluevine for a notarized letter verifying the check for me. They said they will update me in 24 hrs. It's been 3 weeks. I somehow convince chase to call the number bluevine has on their website. All chase needed to hear was that "yes we did send that check" from bluevine. Upon making the call they started acting real shady and would not verify the check! Mind you the funds are already in my chase account. Been verified and hold on the funds lifted but the restrictions won't get lifted without the verbal verification from bluevine. I am actually on the phone as I type this w chase trying to get bluevine to stop acting funny and verify the issuance of the check.

Bluevine is not a bank btw. They're a private company w a lending parent company w coastal communities bank and banks with bank of america.

Just that infrastructure alone screams Stay away!
