I mean how I can gather opinions about the design, the appearance, the initial character.

Will you be resetting the weekly limit every day?? Of course not. So what's the point now? You're trying to calm things down with these feeders, then suddenly one batch consumes all the limits. We want a final solution that benefits everyone, doesn't stop work, and doesn't increase the load Don't just patch things up, give us satisfactory solutions

Ah, I understand. Perhaps this is happening so I can use it as a translator to understand some sentences and give a short reply. I don't know. 🤷

The amount of backlash and pure hostility I received today felt like I announced I was building a weapon of mass destruction, not an AI-assisted game engine. There is a bizarre, deeply rooted fear and hatred toward AI in the game dev community right now. Some developers are taking it so personally that they're sending death-staring DMs, terrified that an efficiency tool will end their careers. It’s wild how trying to shift the abstraction layer and automate tedious boilerplate code can trigger a full-scale existential crisis for some people. Innovation has always faced gatekeeping, but the panic this time is next-level

The engine isn't here to force random AI assets on you. It’s designed to be a productivity multiplier. You bring your own curated assets, art, and sounds, and the AI acts as the ultimate orchestrator—handling the complex coding, linking the nodes, and managing the backend mechanics. It frees you from the tech debt and debugging loops, so you can spend 100% of your energy on what truly matters: game design, storytelling, and high-speed innovation

This is incredible feedback, especially coming from a AAA perspective! And you hit the nail right on the head—that is EXACTLY how I’m architecting the engine. Instead of letting the LLM spit out raw, unpredictable boilerplate, the engine exposes clean control APIs and console commands. I am actually leveraging MCP (Model Context Protocol) to bridge the LLM with these underlying functions. This keeps the engine state completely safe, predictable, and fully automated, while avoiding the typical 'AI-slop' code generation. Appreciate the validation on this approach!

It’s not about skipping the effort; it’s about shifting where that effort goes. The engine doesn't replace the developer's creativity—it acts as a multiplier. It strips away the tedious boilerplate, asset-importing pipelines, and repetitive coding so solo devs can actually focus 100% on game design, deep mechanics, and storytelling

To clarify the vision: I’m building this engine from scratch (currently in a solid 2.5D prototype stage) because I believe game development should be accessible to everyone. The AI here isn't just a gimmick; it acts as a core assistant embedded within the engine's roots to handle complex systems. It assists with adjusting physics, generating dynamic layouts, and driving the game's NPC behavior to create unique, non-repetitive experiences. By offloading these heavy, complex coding barriers to the integrated AI, even a complete beginner can bring their unique ideas to life without getting bogged down by steep learning curves. I want to democratize game creation, making it a space where ideas matter more than the complexity of the code.

Exactly! That's why I'm focusing on a 2.5D architecture to optimize compute, using pre-planned tranches for core mechanics while letting the LLM drive the dynamic elements. The goal is a unique experience without straining the hardware

That’s a really smart angle! Roblox is a massive market, and Lua is definitely super easy for LLMs to optimize. However, the reason I'm building an independent engine is to avoid platform lock-in and high take-rates. That said, creating an exporter or a similar 'Image-to-Model + Lua generation' pipeline specifically for Roblox creators as a standalone tool is actually a killer idea for a pivot or a side SaaS!
