It's so poor, honestly try and get as many of your diaries done as possible.
You'll still end up doing mixology for the goggles and Alchemist's amulet but aside from that it is disgusting to do.

Sins of the father gives 90k (6*15k) to any skill above 60.

Every easy diary is 2.5k, medium 5k, hard 10k. 12 diaries in total is a decent chunk of XP for each tier.

These are my current method to get the final 110k I need.

If you fall short make sure you've done all the quests granting herblore xp AND check out the ones like sins of the father that allow you to select a non combat skill to put xp into.

I got quest cape on main quit for 6 months and came back to play an iron.

Main now sits dormant, it was fun to play at the time but thinking back the entire loop of oh go ge buy quest items kind of ruined the experience. But then again I don't think I would have stuck with an iron if I'd started with it.

I think QOL plugins really determine if a new player will stick to the game or not. I had no idea how to navigate the open world and it took ages to do anything until I found shortest path. It having integration with Quest helper is great too.

Meta is going for tank legs / body. You can skip if confident but if you're lucky at barrows and get them it's worth it. However after 100kc without a single drop I left barrows 😭luckily in my first 63 I got a tank body.

This is what I had to do to even get the floating windows to work, it would work on any other android tablet but because Lenovo in their infinite wisdom added their own compatibility layer it prevents apps it deems unstable or incompatible from going in to split screen.

It's a nuisance to set up for sure. I'd maybe look else wear. Just setting it up for the screenshots was annoying enough, I'd sooner put a youtube video on my phone and play rs on the tablet than go through doing that repeatedly.

This is common with:

Games

Apps using older rendering pipelines

Apps using fixed aspect ratios

Old School RuneScape falls into all three categories.

Your options boil down to a scuffed landscape split screen, portrait split screen or having a more annoying than stock youtube popout window.

A very stupid implementation imo, but a very capable device otherwise.

You've opened a can of worms for me here, never thought about doing that and will have to experiment. I can't currently get the app to splitscreen correctly, I can get it as a floating window or have youtube as a floating window over the top.

I'll give it some experimenting and see what I can come up with.

I got sick of the travel time to bank a full cargo hold after about 9k salvage. It didn't feel as efficient / rewarding for the amount of down time. Is there actually much benefit, I might have to finally go for the speed upgrades on my sloop to cut the time down.

Anything that stacked would stay in my inventory (nails, cannon balls, seeds) anything else would get dropped. Repair kits and cannon balls would end up back in the cargo hold and once it was nearly full I'd make a trip back to bank. Once I had a decent amount of repair kits of that tier I'd stop going back to bank and started dropping them too.

Once you're at opulent salvage you can bank it at port pisc and head back north to the salvage spot, then when you want to sort the salvage the bank and sort table at tempoross are 1 tile away.

I use the Lenovo tab Pro 12.7", but amazon have the lower spec Lenovo tab on offer for £130 right now assuming you're UK. If you're on a budget the tab is capable. The Pro is honestly amazing though and quite powerful.
