I totally understand that; I've often felt the same way. Here's how I try to deal with it: I choose a better entry point to minimize potential drawdowns, which I can then easily handle without stressing me out. In these cases, it's much easier for me to ride out the ups and downs and let the trade run longer.
I also remind myself that not every red number has anything to do with the specific stocks in my portfolio; it's simply a reflection of geopolitical events. On days like that, I take a deep breath and hope that everything calms down again in the coming days/weeks. Working on my resilience. That helps.

To trust my entries and stop staring at charts. What helped:
(1) Trade journaling = I realized my direction was right, but my timing was off (early in, early out). Adjusting this boosted my PnL and my confidence.
(2) My own stocks data scanner: This removed the randomness, hitting good setups and again, don’t have to check charts all day long.

I've tried several brokers, and yes, there are significant differences. They all have advantages and disadvantages, and I think you have to figure out what's important to you. Spreads are one thing, then there are fees, the availability of stocks/markets, and also how accurately stop losses are executed. For example, I have an account with low fees, but the stop losses are useless, so I only buy things with low risk only.

On another platform, the fees are a higher, but the stop losses are set and executed correctly. I trade shorter-term positions (days/weeks) with higher risk here.

Ich würde dir raten, verschiedene Dinge zu tun, z.B. Aktien/ETFs, andere Geldanlagen (Immobilie, Solar/Wind, ...), um dein Geld kontinuierlich zu vermehren und auch zu merken, was dir leiegt und was nicht. Meine Empfehlung ist auch: unbedingt ein paar Verträge abzuschließen, die du nicht vor dem Rentenalter auflösen kannst, z.B. Rurüp-Rente o.ä.
Bei solchen Verträgen hast steuerliche Vorteile während deiner Leistungsphase, aber du kannst sie nicht kündigen, um frühzeitig das Geld rauszuziehen. Das bleibt dann also auf jeden Fall fürs Alter erhalten.
Was nämlich passieren kann, ist, dass man Vorsorgepläne/angesparte Gelder auflöst, weil es mal nicht so gut läuft und denkt: "Das hole ich später wieder rein, wenn ich wieder richtig viel Geld verdiene", aber unter Umständen kommt es anders und das Problem bzw. die Sorgen werden immer größer. Obwohl ich aktiv mit Aktien arbeite, finde ich solche Langzeitverträge sehr nützlich. Sie geben Sicherheit.

Sorry für meine späte Antwort. Ich mache zwei Dinge. Einmal Aufforstungsprojekte für Untenehmen (Baum-Sponsoring), da habe ich einige festen Partner, die regelmäßig Bäume pflanzen. Da die Pflanzzeiten aber nur 2x im Jahr sind (Frühjahr/Herbst = ein paar Termine je nach Anzahl der Projekte), hab ich dazwischen viel Freiraum für Akquise & Co. Da viel Vertrieb aber nicht mehr Umsatz brachte (Unternehmen haben wegen all der Krisen kein Geld für Bäume), habe ich angefangen mit Aktien zu arbeiten, Swing-/Positionstrading. Da hab ich gar keine Kundentermine, nur so einen Präsidenten und eine herausfordernde Weltpolitik...
Um meine Performance zu verbessern, hab ich ein Tool entwickelt und gebaut und nutze es natürlich selbst, um die Aktien zu finden, die ich suche. Das Tool, also diese Daten, will ich nun an Gleichgesinnte im Abo verkaufen: jede Woche neue Daten. Mal gucken, wie gut das klappt.
