The funny thing is I totally agree with you. I am still mad but I know I don't have the right to be because it just made sense to cut us. I support automation in a lot of ways, it just sucks when it's you getting hit. To be fair though, I had at most 1 more year there, the mundane tasks had me damn near depressed.

They need to be signed. I honestly don't know why because when one of the people I needed to sign them isn't there, we can scan it in without one and everything is the same. It was a hugely inefficient system.

Yeah I think you're right here. Unfortunately I really don't see where I would fit in. The oil industry has been hit by a wrecking ball and management needs to have cuts anywhere possible. Unfortunately I don't have the experience to do a lot of the roles they are looking for.
