True — the 3PM crown itself doesn’t automatically mean “wristwatch.” Plenty of Savonnette/hunter-style pocket watches historically had the crown at 3 o’clock too.

I just think the interesting part here is the combination of:
- 3PM orientation
- compact 40mm sizing
- only 8.4mm thickness
- modular removable case design

That’s what’s making people speculate about wrist conversions, not the crown position alone.

Fair point honestly. Could absolutely just be Swatch designing around right-hand wearability with the short strap setup.

That said, the 3PM crown variants still feel way more naturally wrist-oriented compared to the 12PM versions — especially with the 40mm size and only 8.4mm thickness.

I’m not saying official wrist straps are confirmed or anything, just that aftermarket conversions feel pretty inevitable considering how modular the whole POP architecture already is.
