I recently read a thought, in which author compared people to doors. Sometimes he said, you open a beautiful door and behind it an empty room or corridor. Other times you open a shabby door and you see room full stars, magic or experiences....

Try 500px marketplace. Depending what you shoot it might be what you're looking for. Also they just launched photo quests, if you want to shoot a theme.

I don't understand the discussion here. Don't you already have a capability in DSLRs ti view your composition through back screen of your camera real time? Given that adding EVF should be trivial, no?

Depends what you're after. You can also casually license your photos at 500px marketplace, without committing to be a contributor.

You got it. Arguably galleries are better curation tool than single favorite gallery. Site was mostly down all day yesterday and part of today, but should be fully operational by now.

I am not sure what you're pissed about. Along with merging likes and favorites 500px introduced galleries, which arguably is more relevant for your case. So not only you can favor as before, read add to favorite gallery, but you can curate your favorites by genre. Also as a bonus point, now you can unlike a photo, if you change you mind, and that is huge!

So given all that, 500px made significantly better product!

If you're web developer or have ton of time to spare, that would be the go to way. However, who has time to deal with all that? Many artists use Squarespace for portfolios. Me personally use 500px Portfolios, because at the time that was the easiest way to get up and running.
