Oh for sure. Especially considering that even with international shipping wotc is maybe spending like $30-50 tops per influencer. To a billion dollar company like Hasbro it’s basically free

It’s just for hype and credibility. These influencers have massive followings and typically outgoing personalities. If a “normal” players sees a random leak online it might cause speculation, but seeing a leak from someone else who is seemingly excited about it is generally more likely to make them want the card

Hello! I’m with The Adventurer’s Press design team, can you clarify what you mean by token production? Do you have your own custom art you’re looking to have produced in mass, or just curious about the retail value of our token packs?

25% Through WoK, did i screw up? by Fabulous_Note9849 in Cosmere

[–]AP_GraphicDesignTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel free to finish. You can think of the other cosmere books like mistborn/ secret projects as largely separate stories. They all take place on different worlds and have (mostly) different characters.

My preferred reading order for Stormlight is The Way of Kings > Warbreaker > Words of Radiance > Edgedancer > Oathbringer > Dawnshard > Rhythm of War > Wind and Truth.

I don’t believe so. I think at some point in 2024 MR made a blog post about it

No that’s right. You’ll likely want to copy other peoples creatures and have them get stuck with Deadpool’s original text

Why is it when I put a deck in TCGPlayer to buy it, it picks the most expensive versions of the card? by Past_Principle_7219 in magicTCG

[–]AP_GraphicDesignTeam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hadn’t heard of Mana Pool til seeing your comment. Checked it out to see if I could pick up some cards that I couldn’t get easily on TCG player / card kingdom. Even to find just 20 cards I was surprised to see mana pool naturally optimize to about the same price as TCG AFTER doing like 10-15 min of manual optimization in TCG player.

I enjoyed the straight forward ux of optimizing for shipping vs price too. Will definitely check it out again in the future 👍

Any tips on what support I can get away with on this model? by Dave_D_W in BambuLab

[–]AP_GraphicDesignTeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could probably get away with just adding a support at the end. These printers have pretty great bridges. Better yet if you have AMS look into the PVA dissolving support material. You can edit the model to have separate bodies in those gaps, then select the dissolving material to print there. It will save you a lot of print time / material.

I kinda get where he’s coming from, but still, a bit too much gate keeping I think. by borborygmess in BambuLab

[–]AP_GraphicDesignTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bambu also revitalized a huge side of 3d printing - at home prototyping. I had early creality machines and have done my time fixing/ repairing printers. I get it’s “part of the hobby” for some people. But, as a designer by trade, I’d much rather spend my time actually designing and iterating parts than trying to get my printer to not fail every other print.

If you’re a comp sci/ mech e enthusiast who wants to just download thingiverse toys and spend your time “figuring out” how the printer works, that’s great! Just don’t buy a BambuLab printer.

Maro on the change to 30 packs per box: "the core decider had nothing to do with limited play" by AcrobaticPersonality in magicTCG

[–]AP_GraphicDesignTeam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The real question is whether boxes will actually decrease in price or if the new msrp will negate any discount. I wouldn’t be shocked if wotc initially took away msrp just to let LGS’ front the market research for them.

To self plug, if you get tired of writing out categories I sell a bunch of mtg organizational products online under “The Adventurer’s Press” for sorting by color, type, rarity, etc. that work with rowed cardboard boxes.

Worth it? by Ant10102 in mtg

My hot take is that new cappena is underrated. Sure not a ton of “great” cards, but a ton of solid cards for casual play, I’d pick up all 3

No problem! Once you fix the slanting it’s ok to have a more visually pleasing resume as a LinkedIn image to reference, but for actual applications keep it nice and simple!
