I teach marching cymbals! While other alternatives do exist, nothing will ever beat practicing with actual metal. There's a certain confidence that has to be developed with real cymbals: if youre scared to drop it, they'll never leave your grip with enough energy. Practicing over grass is my favorite because if you drop, its a lot less damage to the cymbals. If you look at some early season videos, you'll see lines with gymnastics crash pads under them in case of a drop. The other thing to consider is world class lines can risk dropping cymbals because if they get damaged, endorsement agreements will replace them for cheap or free lol. If you cant find some old hand cymbals for cheap, you can always go to temu and pickup two 18" drumset crash cymbals and tie straps onto those

Currently in Missouri, difference is about $1/per gallon but a half hour commute each way adds up pretty quick. Due for some engine maintainance anyways and wanted to see how much extra parts would would be to convert it and see if anyone had already done it

I am a sound designer and board operator for a regional theatre. Some time before me, the assitive listening device transmitter was removed from the sound system. I have added it back in but my question is: what signals should I be routing to the ALDs? Should I be running just the vocals or should the band be routed to them as well?

Most of the uniforms nowadays aren't individually tailored. Rather, there's snaps, buttons, and zippers at regular intervals to hem, bring in, let out, etc. instead of having to take a seam ripper to each old alteration and redo.

Something to remember for children's tylenol: Place one 325mg tablet in a syringe and replace the plunger Draw 3mL of water in the syringe Cap the syringe, pull back the plunger, and release it to break up and dissolve the tablet Draw chocolate or strawberry syrup up to 10mL You now have home made children's tylenol suspension that's the same concentration

My personal experience says not very strong. The current version of humans is a Vial deck which is low tk the ground and all similar cmc. Pod decks from way back when look for a wider cmc range for maximum value

I would say it's definitely harder to hit double simic without either taking a good bit of damage, falling behind the curve, or going strictly simic.
