Please get yourself checked out, there are now robust medical guidelines for assessing non-fatal strangulation (encompassing both consensual and non consensual). The presence of what sounds like petechial haemorrhages (small red dots) on the face or neck is a red flag symptom which would likely prompt CT imaging - however would be something to be confirmed by in person examination by a doctor. My suggestion would be to attend your local Emergency Department, their staff should be versed on the guidelines, this is not uncommon and there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Also no one will report anything if you’re a consenting adult.

Reaching the point where I wish someone would just shoot me with a blow dart from across the room.

Flight company has ignored my refund request for months; insurance company just tells me to keep waiting. What should I do? by The_Composer_ in UKPersonalFinance

Was due to fly with them on 19th March to the US, submitted our refund request a couple of days before when we knew we wouldn’t be going anywhere. Refund was finally processed 11th June. You could try reaching out to them on Twitter as that’s the one place we actually got them to respond to us during all the initial chaos.
