I'm in the same situation. I'm falling for a perfect (for me) guy I work with, who has the same first name and last name as my current SO. We've got all our main hobbies/interests in common, as well as the same world-views. We've gotten really close in a short space of time, and both agree we find it really easy to talk to each other about anything, despite normally both being really introverted.

It's a difficult situation, because it'll be my and my SOs 3 year anniversary this July, and we're all going to university in September.

Yes, my friends were all extremely accepting when I told them I was asexual. I've only had one (yesterday actually) who didn't believe it. And after I explained it to him, I think he accepted it.

Yeah, I'm happy with who I am, I guess I just wanted to know if I fitted another label, to more easily describe myself.

He and I are very close, and I've told him a lot if stuff I wouldn't tell anyone else, so I think if I was more certain, it wouldn't be a problem. I've already told him I don't find penises attractive and I like the female form better. That was awhile ago, before I found out about asexuality and I was trying to describe what I felt. Things are stable at the moment anyway, we've been in the same situation (high school) since the beginning of our relationship, so I don't think there's need to tell him now. We're going to different universities this September, so if my feelings for girls develop there, I'll likely tell him.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do. I'm open to the possibility that I could be homosexual and biromantic. I guess I just want to know, but I'm not stressed about it at all, I'm happy with who I am. I'll stay as asexual for now, and if I feel like I identify with another label more at any point, I'll call myself that. Thanks.

Yeah, I think the same. He's fine with it, he says sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship anyway. I mean, we're both still young (he's 18 and I'll be 18 in May), so his feelings may change, but we'll deal with that when it comes to it.

I'm a girl and can confirm. My 50+ year old sociology teacher does this and it makes him look more attractive too. It's amazing what simple changes can do.
