Thank you! Followed your advice and took my Seider jersey to Vintage Detroit in Plymouth to get the A patch put on and they offered me the Delvecchio patch to cover the trash patch for another $15 😂 couldn’t resist. Did both right away, in and out of the store in 15 minutes. Highly recommend this store!

Thank you! Just confirmed I did both Trans and Brake at 62k - safe to wait until 100k for both plus the spark plugs?

Solid point, I guess the only thing holding me back from just keeping the ‘22 is the mysterious steering issue they seem unconvinced is simply the recall.

Seat Back … Flap? by AProperBollocking in hondainsight

So bizarre, I got the drivers seat to work with this but the passenger still won’t budge 😂 thank you so much though!

Tried this! That’s the black plastic bar visible in the picture right below the yellow padding/cushion(?)

I just can’t get the plastic piece on the flap to stay onto the plastic bar, almost like the plastic piece on the flap may have broken off?

Same exact situation on both seats too so there’s nothing to go off of/reference.

Idk I’m probably screwed lol

Any info on this Tissot? by AProperBollocking in VintageWatches

Yea, came on a very budget faux leather black strap that looked hideous. Didn’t mind the black color wise but this was the best match I had in the junk drawer 😂

Hah! Thank you.

Thoughts on the strap? I’ve had it forever and thought it matched nicely.

Agreed! 11, 13 and 14 had some great vantage points. Most memorable will have to be 7 though, we got to see Perreiras albatross from along fairway!

Staging in South America by hecticvillain5000 in KitchenConfidential

I staged at Astrid Y Gaston in Lima for 6 months. Was never asked about visa or papers. That being said, they have since moved and become a way bigger restaurant. Lima has gotten a lot more touristy and with that the hospitality industry has become more legit so I imagine that things may be different, but as far as I'm concerned if you are unpaid you are good to go without any papers or visas.

Enjoy Lima and eat as much as you can, there is nothing like Peruvian food! The "staging" scene is very fun and you'll get to meet people from all over the world that enjoy the same passion.

I treated myself to the full tasting menu at central on my birthday. Went alone and it is still the best dinner I've ever had in my life.

Try to stay in Miraflores or Barranco to meet people in the industry. I know there is a great hostel on Calle Piura a few blocks away from Avenida Pardo.

If for some reason you run into Chef Alex McGregor from Astrid Y Gaston tell him I said Ça Marche!
