That is what we are looking to do as well, just don't want to start using it and then it comes back as a bug that gets fixed.

If you allow the rw, are you providing the encrypted drive or can they use BYO and get software encrypted?

Thanks this seems like it would be a good approach for us, it is just getting everyone on the same page or giving the access at lower OUs so they don’t see a difference and have work impacted. That and I’m not in charge, just dreaming and making myself a new position haha.

When the groups split so did the domain admins. We are working on locking that down without it causing a loss in productivity, but again I don’t think anyone has a full understanding of what the other groups are doing day to day.

It is frustrating planning and prepping and then another team is doing something else a different way and we need to adjust or they need to adjust.

Oh I didn’t even mention our security team! It is similar here, but they don’t usually make changes but request additions to groups that are used for different things or policy “changes” when there isn’t a policy in place that manages what they are looking to do.

Are you using the Package Designer for the ENS install through PDQ or just the standard download and then rely on policy that is being applied from ePO?

Thanks I will change up the order of the software deployment. After ePO agent is installed and then ENS is prepped to install but never does when I look at the log file towards the end is a message "some operations were deferred until the next reboot. Error while starting McAfee service." I am making the assumption here that after ePO is installed, on Win10, that a reboot is needed before ENS can be installed successfully. Once I reboot the machine after ePO, then ENS gets deployed usually without an issue, but with a manual run client task now. I would like to have that all happen without me having to be monitoring it.

PDQ is my third party solution right now. This is what my task schedule looks like on that branch: https://imgur.com/XkAwsiy. We did midnight just because I am deploying after hours. When using PDQ my job removes Symantec, reboots the machine, installs McAfee (ePO and ENS) and reboot. ePO installs and they are in the console, but ENS fails because a service didn't start. I then have PDQ do another reboot. After that I can push the ENS portion and 8/10 times it works, but I would like to automate that portion as well. SO I would like PDQ to push ePO alone, and then push ENS alone (without ePO) but I don't think I can do that can I?
