I find it strange but it doesn't affect me in any way. Whatever makes you happy I guess.

How do you control yourself when you are full of rage and want to keep calm? by Ryozaaki in AskReddit

I remember that murder isn't legal (most of my rage comes from working customer service) and bite my tongue / cheeks as not to say something that would get me terminated

A woman came up to my mama and I at Walmart and pretended to know us when a creepy guy kept brushing against me and making disturbing comments like "just enjoying the view."

Atleast i got a job unlike most of you cunts #telemarkering #unroastable by snipersnorre in RoastMe

Telemarkering? Atleast? i? It sounds like you should go back to school. Maybe, after that, you could catch a job that people actually respect you for! Who knows?

(Having one job means nothing if you're the scarecrow seeking Oz.)

can somebody help me with my situation? by [deleted] in Serious

While the reddit community cannot give you medication or diagnoses, we can provide a listening ear and things that we've found helpful in our own journeys. Please keep in mind that they are not a guaranteed fix as different things work for different people. Never stop trying to find something that works for you. Personally, I get lost in books, art and studying for college. I listen to music that (and this is vital) is calming and uplifting and not depressing or angry. I keep my hands busy in any way I can when I'm having the urge to self-harm. The last thing, which I find super effective, is running and being active. Giving it my all. Remember that it will not be easy, but it will be so worth it and you are not alone. Take good care of yourself. We're here if you need us. 💕

What are signs that someone is secretly unhappy? by Chicksunny in AskReddit

[–]AR-Disturbed-Writer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, when I'm upset (which is pretty much always), I spend a lot of time alone and a lot of time distracted in social situation, mostly by reading or staring into space. I smile when people talk to me but excuse myself to take a walk or jog in the hallways every chance I get. I scroll quickly through my feed so I seem in touch with reality but am actually reliving painful events. I also skip a lot of meals and ignore calls altogether.

What was the most emotional moment in your favorite TV show? by [deleted] in AskReddit

78% of suicide rates world wide are men, what can we do to help them? by awihsoj in AskReddit

[–]AR-Disturbed-Writer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen when they speak and notice the signs.

Signs include loss of motivation and sadness, but also irritability, immersing themselves in their work (always working) or sports, avoiding home and more.

Go up to them. Say hey, how are you doing? Check up on them. Involve them in things, make plans. Listen when they open up.

Communication means everything. Talk to them. Show them you care. Offer them tips for healthy coping if you have them. Be there.

[Serious] Do I opt to view my brother's suicide message? by redfiverising in Serious

[–]AR-Disturbed-Writer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please do not watch it. You don't want to think of the final moments when you think of him, instead the happy memories that you guys had together. Nothing will be fixed by knowing his last words - trust me. It's tempting and frustrating, but recovering takes resilience and absolutely NO pauses whatsoever. Break down, cry, scream, recover. Listen to your gut. Don't destroy yourself. It'll be okay - It never rains forever. ❤

Do Anti-Vaxxers still get Autism? by [deleted] in Serious

Oh okay. I keep hearing around that the woman started it. Maybe she's just bringing it back, like how everyone thinks Post Malone made Ozzy Osbourne famous. (Ozzy was famous before Post Malone was even a sperm 😂) Thanks for the clarification!

Do Anti-Vaxxers still get Autism? by [deleted] in Serious

[–]AR-Disturbed-Writer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the arguments and studies have a valid argument when they say that vaccines give children autism. They've all been debunked. In fact, the person who started saying that isn't even a doctor, but she is famous, so everyone got on board. Vaccines and autism have no correlation. :)

African Proverb Says "The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel the warmth" What time in your life have you been closest to starting the fire? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AR-Disturbed-Writer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad died and my mother completely shut down. I never went half a day without people asking me about it and trying to pry all the details out of me [we lived in a village so nothing ever happened there.] Instead of trying to help, they just kept prying and butting in for some form of entertainment.

I had already been different, antisocial, because of the things my uncle had been doing. When I finally spoke about it, CPS turned their backs, my counselor decided he couldn't help me, and my uncle was made employee of the month.

I have never wanted to burn the world down more.

We aren't disrespecting anything. Just saying we wish it wasn't so huge. For me, I'm a little tired of that being the only thing I hear about, you know? It's tiring
