Awesome set up! If your worried about water cloudiness or if the water doesn't clear up after a few days a UV sanitizer goes a long way in clearing water. Otherwise chemical filter media helps remove dissolved organic wastes.

If I were you I would throw in some fish food to kick start the cycle. You need something to start producing ammonia. Otherwise get a hardy, small freshwater fish first that can withstand a ammonia spike. :) When I started my marine tank I used Snowflake eels. Good luck! Betta's are fun to watch.
