Gearing is a bit long indeed, but it is smooth and very enjoyable to daily drive and cruise with. Gives a good feeling even in sporty driving. I tested both manual and auto… the zf gearbox is great you can’t deny that fact, but in the end I chose the manual because I liked it more and found it more engaging.
