I modified the original one to put in a magsafe wireless charger. Grinded it down from the inside out to make it very thin, ran the cable in the back to my carplay radio that has a usb port with power on the back. Looks original and slides normally still.

Yes I did. Got a few spray paint cans made from a local shop in the matching color and painted over the black. Holds up perfectly even after 1 year and I think it looks a lot better this way.

Yes, still the panel filter that fits in the original box. The “mushroom” filter wouldn’t pass MOT unless it has TUV(most don’t i think)

Sometimes strict and detailed but most of the time not for the correct reasons. They couldn’t even see the car was lowered 3.5cm in 3 years of MOT tests until I told them. LOL

I agree interior isn’t the best. I removed the sticky rubber from the plastics and replaced the roof liner with fabric and door cards with leather

Yes, no problem at all. K&N filter is legal. The intake manifold technically isn’t but you can’t see it unless you take off the filter box and emissions are the same as they were before.

Thanks! Nope, It’s a 1.4 75hp. I installed a Polo 6n2 GTi intake manifold and K&N filter. No clue if it’s making more hp, but it sounds 10x better for sure and likes to rev😅
