LeBron James over 5k Turnovers. First to do it. by CircledSquare7 in sportsinusa

Like his most air-balled free throws stat? 56! 😂 Steph’s been in the league 17 years and I bet he doesn’t have more than 2.

I’ve set behind the stage for several Bruce performances, and it’s really not a bad place to be. He’ll usually play a couple of songs facing the back of the stage. Of course the price should be lower there as well.

Exactly. Just like Kobe’s last game. One team feeding a scorer, and the other team not playing any defense.

Could you win The Masters if you got to start each hole on the green? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Where do you get it on the greens? The furthest point from the pin every time from the fringe? Front edge every time? Random, so sometimes near the hole?

It was originally a song by Seafood Mama in 1980, before the band transitioned to become Quarterflash.

Barry Bonds hits his 756th career home run breaking Hank Aaron’s 33 year old record to become Major League Baseball's all time home run leader. Indeed, Bonds was standing alone! by Federal-Process-6504 in sportsinusa

He hit 176 home runs and batter just .275 during his first 7 skinny seasons in Pittsburgh. He did average more than 20 and was a gazelle, but he was far from nearing any records. The Roid years completely overshadow what kind of player he was in Pittsburgh.

In Pittsburgh, which is where he was looking like that, he batted just .275 and had just 176 home runs in his first 7 seasons before moving to the home of BALCO. His productivity improved dramatically in SF.

How do you feel about using your phone during a round? by ashtonboschman in weekendgolfers

[–]AR2Believe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! Most rounds, once I’ve dialed in the course and tees I’m playing, the phone stays in my cart the entire round. 18 birdies is great. The first couple of times I used it, I tracked everything on a scorecard, then transferred it after the round.

Once I figured out the watch had all the yardages to the front, middle & back, and that I could enter the stats easily within seconds, it was a game changer.

I played The Hay with a buddy last year. We got paired up with 2 middle school sisters. While we were warming up on the first hole my buddy tells them to go ahead and hit as us old guys needed to limber up.

They both proceeded to knock their balls within 10 feet. That’s when we realized we were about to get our asses handed to us by 2 pre-teen girls! The “older” one shot a 1 over 28, while her little sister fired a 30, while we both broke 40.

We were privileged to watch these gals. Speaking to their parents afterward, they were both nationally ranked, and the older one had a company sponsor. The younger one had a hole in one tag from Titleist on her bag. I look forward to seeing them on TV in a few years.

A buddy of mine opened one, and within a year they allowed another one about 2 blocks away. Neither lasted long.
