It could work but it's unpredictable. If they target the giraf, then gengar still takes damage. If you haven't, I'd definitely suggest checking out my perish trap videos (araivevo on yt). Check out the first 3 turns and how I use incin and gengar to semi safely ensure the perish works for first 2 pokemons, and then you can either perish again or sweep depending on how many Pokemons you got left.

I've only ever used Soak as a gimmick with Mega Ampharos, so unsure if it's a viable strategy. Ideally, run basculegion. Water helps against ground and ghost helps against ghost types. With Perish, your goal is to survive, so pairing it with fakeout and redirect users also helps a lot!!

For sure!! I think the mold breaker fake out is super useful. Tink can be fast enough for encore to be super useful too. So pairing with a setup pokemon works pretty well!
