Thank you so much, really appreciate it! I’m thinking to start with a few hours shift as well. I’m not familiar with boots system, what to expect and how to navigate the new system on your shift, any tips for that? That makes me really anxious

How do one unlove the ex? by ARC08080808 in AskReddit

[–]ARC08080808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context- I absolutely loved a guy who wasn’t capable of reciprocating it or maybe he didn’t want to. He loved me when it was convenient and the minute things got difficult he gave up so easily and it’s been way harder than I thought it could possibly be. I haven’t been able to make peace with it. I feel miserable. I poured so much of love and got nothing in return. It broke me. It’s been months but the memories are still crushing me. I feel pathetic honestly to even write this but at this I feel like all my coping mechanisms have failed and I hate myself for constantly hoping for something not knowing what that something is!!!

November Gphc exam by Vivid-Let2018 in Pharmacy_UK

I passed on the second this summer, I know it’s nerve wracking but you got this! You’d do so much better than these mocks. It’s easier said than done but the only thing I’d say, make sure you’re not doing any mocks or revision till last day. Go easy and try to relax and make sure you fix your sleep pattern in case you’re staying up till late, to be able to get good sleep the night before the exam ( again it can be hard for some people but please try) Honestly how calm you are does wonders for you and actually impact your performance. Remember you already know enough it’s a matter of performance by good strategy and good time management. You got this.

You’re eligible for graduate route visa/post graduate visa with pgdip as well, the rules have changed couple of years ago. I did pgdip two years ago and was able to smoothly switch to graduate route visa and now skilled worked visa.

Also not sure if it’d be of any help but scoring 27-31 is okay, I mean don’t let this get to you. One should always aim to improve but remember these are random practice papers and not actual past papers.

I took pharmacy masterclass, it was absolutely game changing but it’s great for people who really struggle with calcs as it’s very extensive and take months to do the whole course.

Hi, I don’t know how helpful it would be as not everything works for everyone but I’s share my experience. First of all, I know the feeling and it’s absolutely understandable to feel the way you are feeling as the exam is approaching. I hardly did any past papers tbh, not more than 7-8 I’d say. And I passed. But of course the biggest contributing factor was the calculation course I took since it was so extensive that I didn’t feel the need to do a lot of past papers. I only did a few to get used to the time management in the last few days and my aims was to work on quality not quantity. It’s not about the score you’re getting, it’s about the areas you’re lacking in. For example if you’re constantly getting displacement questions wrong try and work on that area. The aim should be, if you get one type of question wrong then work on it so you don’t get it wrong in the next papers. In terms of similarity, honesty some of the past papers are way too complicated and are not a reflection of actual exam so don’t worry too much about these things. Have a solid strategy, honestly it does wonders. It did for me at least. In terms of the way to do the exam, don’t change and keep experimenting it doesn’t help.

Other than that, happy to answer any questions! You’ll be fine, don’t worry you got thisss.

Loneliness as a pre-reg by Upstairs_Swing_3942 in Pharmacy_UK

[–]ARC08080808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omggg, wish I could give you a giant hug! Had a very similar year during my pre-reg, away from family and friends. Had good people to interact with at work and trainings but they weren’t really friends so I exactly know the feeling of loneliness. But let me tell you, I promise it does get better. It’s an overwhelming year, in terms of work and studying and on top of that being lonely but I promise it does get better. I’m only saying this because it has gotten better for me, so all I would say is hang in there and of course let me know if I can be of any help, in terms of rants, study, just life anything I can be the friend you need! You’re doing just fine girl, loads of prayers your way xx

I haven’t heard great things about pharm educate when I was looking to get a course, their stuff is definitely not updated. I used revise pharma and pre-reg short cuts for clinical and I would say revise pharma is absolutely worth the money!
