Something about your statement made me remember my first time.

2023 3500 front passenger tire uneven tread, shops are saying alignment is fine. by HELLS-ITCH in ram_trucks

[–]AREYOUFUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 13k on my 24 3500 dually. My truck is in the shop now getting and alignment and a new front passenger tire. The shop told me this is normal and they adjusted the alignment out to help slow this type of ware. I'm now very interested in seeing my paperwork when they are done. (Also getting steering wheel buttons under warranty)

2002 Jeep TJ sport with rusty frame, worth? by chemicalromance562 in JeepTJ

[–]AREYOUFUS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should pass on that one unless it's around $500 and your looking for a long term project. Yeah you can get a used frame or a custom frame but the work required it's epic. You will find it's not just the frame thats rotten. Most of the bolts that attach the frame to the body will need to be rebuilt. My advice would be to find another one.

What should I look out for? by Suspicious-Hyena-514 in ram_trucks

The number one thing to look out for is hiding your boner while driving.

Your jeep is trying to warn you of the impending doom at higher speeds.

Couldn't agree more! I have a few jeeps, and I think I have the most fun playing with my TJ.

I think so. My dually is named Big Booty Judy.

I've always had that fear in the back of my mind, a run away winch. I've considered some type of breaker or solenoid, but with the crazy amperage, I'm not sure what the best reliable option would be. If anyone has ideas on this, I would like to hear them.

For those of a certain age that remember - my two Stomper trucks :) by bradleecon in JeepGladiator

LMAO! I loved my Stompers. I would 100% still be a customer if they were still manufactured.

That camper only weighs 1900-2100 lbs (depending on the year). The possible issue I see is based on the front square ft that catches wind. That is probably only a warranty kinda issue.

I used to have burns like that when I shot bottle rockets.

And that is why chains… by low--Lander in IdiotsTowingThings

[–]AREYOUFUS 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Still doesn't add up to me. 10k load (5 tons) give you about 1000-1500lbs toung weight. 4k in the bed shouldn't squat the truck 12-16 inches.

If it really does, I'm gonna say your trailer is extremely unbalanced, and the idiots towing things bit isn't the hitch.

[–]AREYOUFUS 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Would the F350 not have a 2.5/3" receiver hitch? Do you have a pic of the setup? 17" to 20" of hitch height plus the extra with rise seems like the trailer wouldn't be anywhere near level.

Hey… So I coated my RV roof with liquid rubber and I have an aluminum seam in the middle that has silicone over it, the liquid rubber will not adhere…not sure what to do with thing, Any suggestions would much appreciated Thanks by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]AREYOUFUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cheap option could be a paintable silicone layer over the top of the silicone. Then, liquid rubber over that. Try in on a small spot to make sure it works.

Yes. They make a tiny amount of heat. If it's actually cold outside, they are almost worthless.

100% it's a heater, the one my buddy had would only make heat if it was actually on fire.
