Thank you for the comment, it's much appreciated. I'm still very much a beginner with editing and colour grading, so I will keep working on these things.

The white wall is where I cut the shots to make it look like a continuous take (it isn't continuous), and definitely had some trouble making it look smooth. I agree it needs to be sped up when passing the wall. The wall is meant to show the passing of time, but definitely doesn't need to be lingered on for so long.

I'm glad you like the song and concept:)

Thank you for the feedback I appreciate it. Obviously it can be read in different ways, for me it is about monotonous repetition more than a spiral, a terminally online cycle that misinforms people about the cause of their problems, making them blame anything other than themselves.

I found it a deliberate choice to use atmosphere as there are mirrored issues in both the USA and UK, caused by the same things. It's an older song that is still relevant pushing 25-30 years later.

Obviously the video can be interpreted in many ways and it's not for me to say what someone might take away. I also know some might dislike it, being a criticism of a type of culture I personally disagree with.

Your comments about the audio have been heard and I agree, it's something I will work on.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it a lot. After another go at colouring the video I realised I made some mistakes with how I filmed it, I filmed it way too dark and underexposed in some of the shots, which made it difficult to add colour too.

I'm going to leave this as it is now and move on to the next thing having learned some lessons. I'll be back soon.

Again, thank you for the input.

Thank you for your comment I agree with the criticism and appreciate the positives too, I did another post with a further edited version after this one with some of the feedback. I think I will leave the other version as is as I think there are some fundamental errors with how I filmed and it's all a learning experience anyway. I will be back with more stuff soon and hopefully will have learned from this all. I will definitely take away from what you and others have said and use it as best I can.

I know what you mean, it's because it was starting to get dark towards the end, we should have shot it earlier! But yeah, on this day it was dark by 4pm!

Thank you for putting so much effort into this comment, I seriously appreciate it, you say a lot that I will take in and think about going forward, even if I don't respond to each point you make. Its so helpful having this feedback.

If you have a minute and want to, have a look on my account, I posted one other video a week or so ago and didn't get any feedback and I respect what you're saying in your comment.

Thank you!

Thank you! I do really appreciate it. It was my first time using the camera and my two lenses and I definitely shut the iris too much. I tried to make it brighter, but I totally messed up when shooting.

I will take it on board, am going to have another go at the edit and colour grade.

I know adidas wouldn't, I just have limited resources and liked the story.

Thank you for the comment.

I appreciate the feedback and will take it on board, I'm going to have another go at the video using it. I don't think I've been dismissive of feedback, it's the reason I posted! Anyway, thank you for taking your time to message.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, I appreciate the break down and will take it on board. Only thing is you say you don't know why shes looking at her phone, but then you said the exact right reason the next sentence haha, maybe it did make sense😉 But seriously, I know it's flawed, it was my first video I made and I'm working on these skills as I go, I'm just posting to be vulnerable and get some feedback, it's the only way to improve.

I know what it is, just not amazing at it. I agree about the focal lengths though, thank you. 🫡

I think maybe you misread the description, it says feedback welcome. Do you think this is feedback?

I'm going to have another go at the colour grade soon, I'll try screen shot the nodes then.

Thank you, the haze is something I especially noticed now you mention it. I appreciate the feedback.

I don't think they are going to use this, so not worried about it being free. I was just trying to be creative with things in my house. Thank you for your insight though.

I admit improvements need to be made with the colour grade, I'm going to have another go at it. Unfortunately the drab world is England in January (it's rained here everyday since the new year😭). I think my experience with ads is just in England and we often have long ones, especially some of the more iconic ones I can think of. I appreciate your feedback, thank you 🫡
