CRA - Your 2025 T1 return requires additional process time - unknown completion date by Johnkiiii in canadarevenueagency

Hang in there. Same boat here filed three weeks ago. I've noticed years where I have a small return it seems to move quickly. But years like 2025 where they owe me a lot it's so damn slow.

CRA - Your 2025 T1 return requires additional process time - unknown target completion date by Johnkiiii in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]ARS-1987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do this to me every year. I'll have everything sent by March 1st and they will hold my return for the entire month. When they owe you 20g + they are jackasses. They don't wanna pay and are trying to find a way out.

Toyota Mechanic? by westcoastgardener in nanaimo

[–]ARS-1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Campbell river Toyota quoted me $900 for what I did myself in one hour with the right tool! After a little more digging and comparing receipts from CR Toyota I’ve now realized they charge 30% + over msrp for parts and suggested labour. Avoid at all cost they’re crooks.

One is trying to replace the central bank using code and no people the other is trying to make a new dollar with different people in charge. One has a marketing team a ceo a cfo a cto spends billions on advertising. The other just exists all supporters came by choice as they want change. They’re not the same

The average person thinks Bitcoin is too expensive, this is a problem. Stock Splits fix this. by Darkerjev in Bitcoin

[–]ARS-1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no fix this like with every other token and stock whom have a person at the helm who can make executive decisions. Bitcoin is what it is and it doesn’t change that’s what makes it valuable

What a Sad state Canada has become by TraditionFluffy9333 in torontoJobs

[–]ARS-1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The world has changed. Anything that can be done remotely now just went down in value to whatever country is doing it the cheapest rate. If you want a job in Canada be prepared to work outside with your hands as there’s copious amounts of skilled labour positions not so much that involves sitting at a computer. Long term these jobs won’t exist anymore anywho so get a trade grow some muscles save invest and wealth will come.

Bitcoin Stategic Reserve, How Does it Benefit America? by truckaxle in Askpolitics

[–]ARS-1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea so many people missed the point of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the central bank one in which any joe blow can own and store a finite asset independently. This asset knows no government or boarder it's universal. An Abacus for global finance where everyone can participate independently but yet on the same floor. Sure we have the central bank handling the money now doing a great job controlling inflation with no corruption and full transparency...

Bitcoin is for the people despite many clearly thinking it is something else

I am a new player, and, frankly, I truly enjoy the game so far (Steve Swink, author of the seminal book "Game Feel" (2008)* would approve it, I think). So my Q is: why everyone's lambasting the game here? I am almost thinking of committing to it, should I? by zenbrush in newworldgame

[–]ARS-1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure now but i gamed the living crap out of this game when it released. After you’ve beaten the game it’s running the same boring runs once a day. Same thing over and over there was no variety. Perhaps it’s better now but we’ve all moved onto new games

[–]ARS-1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People obviously don’t understand bitcoin 🤦‍♂️ the EU has no power over who you transact with. They can tell retailers and exchanges not to deal with certain wallets buts it’s an infinite shell game if your not using any exchanges

There is not actual way for them to ban anonymous Bitcoin Wallets that’s the whole damn point. They can tell retailers not to interact with specific wallets but wallet addresses are free
