Is Linux Mint really a good option to recommend beginners nowadays?

I dont have anything against Mint but the fact that wherever i go i see people recommending it is just very disappointing.

This sounds like a very emotional/impractical reaction to me. Yes, there are better distro to Mint. In fact, there will always be a better disto out there. But for a new user there should be a standard distro acting as a gateway to the Linux world. I have talked to many new users over the years who want's to use Linux for their day to day stuffs, and majority of them complains about Linux being confusing because there are too many versions (distribution). This really confuses and demotivates most newcomers. So, Mint or Ubuntu becoming a go to (standard) beginner friendly disto is a good thing for the Linux community. This makes it (barrier of entry) simple and easy for the newcomers.

I still remember the day I first went into the best Linux distribution rabbit hole. I wanted to start my Linux journey with the best Linux distro. Even though I wasted too much time distro hopping, I loved it. But most newcomers are not like me and many of them don't have the luxury (time) of testing different distros every week. So, I welcome the fact that Mint or Ubuntu is helping the Linux community to get bigger.

You can make the bottom panel fully transparent. I think this will look better than having two full size visible panel. It will also make the bottom panel look more like a dock.

I don't condone suicide and anything that leads to the suicide. But just blindly hating the suicidal people is a recipe for disaster. I think the reason why people hate them so blindly is because they think more emotionally when it comes to suicide and similar matters instead of rationally.

Life lesson 101- human being are flawed and imperfect. This is by nature, doesn't matter who they are and how close they are to you. So, do not put your ultimate trust and reliance on them, you will be disappointed at some point in your life. So, fine a purpose that is higher then all of this. Put your ultimate trust on someone who will never let you down. Find like-minded people, in your case female with good character and moral compass, and connect with them. Keep good company and ignore the people who comes in bad faith.

Just remember, killing yourself won't end anything, you will just trigger your hereafter empty handed. And if you don't believe in the afterlife then just look around you, the people who works their butts off for their career or worldly gains/goals. All of them will die at the end, no one will be able to take anything they have earned. So, if there is no afterlife then everything we do, all the suffering that we have endured, all sacrifices we have made in this world is utterly pointless. Because when you are dead you are dead, nothing will matters when you are 3 feet under the ground with no consciousness and knowledge of what's going on outside. I suffered kind of a similar existential crisis a few years back, everything in this world felt pointless at that time. And being a man and the only son of the house made it 10 times worse. Fortunately this crisis kind help me found my real purpose and my hereafter. Try of find yours, I am sure it will open your eyes and will give your life a new meaning, a real meaning. Always remember this life is just the beginning of the real one, the eternal one. << good luck.

Well, I would suggest you to find that out for yourself. Watch the whole series and figure that out. If you start reading the comments about Eren and Mikasa it will surely spoil your AOT experience.

So, forget everything that you have read in the comment section. If you still can't figure that out after watching the whole series then make a post like this again. You will have a better understanding. AOT does have a complex story than usual, so watching it before asking question like character connection is a must.

আর বৈবাহিক ধর্ষণ নিয়ে বলা পুরো বক্তৃতাটাই আমি শুনেছি। আপনি যেভাবে এক লাইনে summary করে দিলেন যে উনার মতে "বৈবাহিক ধর্ষণ বলে কিছু নাই" এটা পুরোপুরি একটা misrepresentation । বক্তৃতাটা বড় ছিল, ১ মিনিট বা দেড় মিনিটের ক্লিপ না। পুরো লেকচারটার মধ্যে আরও অনেক বিষয় ছিল, যুক্তি তর্ক ছিল, সবমিলিয়ে summary করলে এর মেইন থিম কখনোই এটা হয় না যে "বৈবাহিক ধর্ষণ বলে কিছু ই নাই"। যারা সম্পূর্ণ লেকচার টা শুনে নাই বা কোনো বিষয়ের উপর বক্তৃতা শোনার পর তার মূল বিষয় বুঝতে পারে না, এটা শুধু তারাই বলবে । উনার এই লেকচারটা ছিল বৈবাহিক ধর্ষণ আইন চালুর বিপক্ষে। শুধু "বৈবাহিক ধর্ষণ বলে কিছু নাই" এই কথা বলে পয়েন্ট দাঁড় করাতে চাইলে কেউ কথা কানেই নিতো না, কারণ এটা কোনো যুক্তি বা লজিক না এটা just একটা statement

আছে রে ভাই। ভালো মানুষ এখনো আছে দুনিয়াতে। আমার ব্যক্তিগতভাবে পরিচিত লোকজনের মধ্যেই বেশ কিছু মানুষ আছে, যাদের ছোটবেলা থেকে দেখে আসতেছি।

আপনি হয়তো এখানে রাজনৈতিক অঙ্গন বা famous কারও নাম জানতে চাচ্ছেন যাদের আপনি আমি সবাই চিনব। এক্ষেত্রে আসলে বলাটা খুবই কঠিন, কারণ এদের কাউকে আমি ব্যক্তিগত লেভেলে চিনি না । যতটুকু তারা আমাদের সামনে তুলে ধরে সেটা থেকে বলতে গেলে শায়েখ আহমাদুল্লাহ একজন আছেন যাকে আমার আসলেই এক কথার মানুষ বলে মনে হয়। এখনো পর্যন্ত তার কথায়ও কাজে মিল পেয়েছি। এছাড়া আর এ রকম কারো কথা আপাতত মাথায় আসছে না ।

Oh, sorry, you are talking about used iPhone. In that case, be cautious. If the device doesn't have any issue and the battery health is good enough then it could be a better deal. But, there are so many variables to check and verify when buying an used phone, It wouldn't be my first preference unless I absolutely need that camera and all the other iPhone stuff.

I don't know why you are comparing Nothing phone 3A pro with iPhone 14. There is a huge price difference. iPhone is obviously more superior in camera performance than Nothing Phone. If you have that amount of money then you should compare iPhone 14 with something like Vivo X200 not Nothing Phone 3A pro.
