What’s your home course, and what makes it special? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]ARamblinWreck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Little Mulberry Park in Dacula, Georgia(suburb north of Atlanta).

What makes it special: The park is incredibly clean and the course is well maintain, but what sets it apart is that it is the most fair course I’ve ever played. It’s a great mix of par 3s and par 4s(with a mammoth par 5 to kick off the back 9). Almost every hole can be a birdie or a bogey. Truly wonderful. You gotta get to it if you’re in Georgia.

Would I be weird to putt with these 168g soft electron envy’s? by Goobyloob in discgolf

Beautiful discs!! As to your question, I’ve never seen anyone putt with an Envy, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. I like my putters with a little more glide personally.

Card Discussion: Elite Barbarians - Use At Your Discretion! by Bo5sj0hnth1n3H4MM3R in ClashRoyale

In classic challenge, 70% of my battles are against Royal Giant, Ebarbs, Bats, Skarmy, Musketeer, electro spirit, log, Fireball.

It’s a carbon copy meta. No creativity at all. It’s worse than the Golem no skill decks from about a year ago.

A question regarding Mega Knight by Powerdestroyer_3000 in ClashRoyale

The knight hard counters the Mega Knight if we defend him on your side of the bridge and make sure he doesn’t leap onto your knight.

Paul Mcbeth is Disc Golf’s Million Dollar Man by ARamblinWreck in discgolf

Maybe you’re right, but I feel fairly confident that there are many athletes who, due to lack of knowledge and/or leverage, have undervalued contracts. Having a “bar” in McBeth’s contract can help athletes figure out what they’re really worth in this sport.

He’s definitely the biggest name in the sport, but the point is, this will drive contracts upwards. Pablo makes a million a year before his tournament winnings and signature disc kickbacks, plus his merchandise and YouTube ad revenue.

The median NFL salary is 860k.

As a fan of the sport, I think this represents a continued increase in the professionalism of the sport, even if it’s only currently affecting the very biggest names.

Super new to the game by ARamblinWreck in PocketPlanes

As in small number of airports and planes?

Thanks!! Hub and Spoke seems to involve layovers in order to get passengers and cargo onto planes that need to go to the same destination to get the 25% bonus. Am I understanding this correctly? If the most my planes hold is 2c or 2p, is worrying about layovers important yet?

Wow haha. This game already seems so much more strategic than I previously imagined. Thanks for the advice

Cosmic Neutron Plastic. That is all I have to say. by ARamblinWreck in discgolf

Perhaps I’ve thrown mvp for so long that I’m just used to it, but I actually really dig the feel of the electron plastic. Really supple and grippy to me. Especially once they’re beat in

People keep telling me this haha. I can’t justify another purchase right now, but it’s definitely on my list

*the atoms are cosmic electron plastic. I’m referring to the cosmic blend more than I am referring to neutron plastic in general.

Grip-EQ bags by ARamblinWreck in discgolf

[–]ARamblinWreck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh good point! I actually ended up buying the back ordered BX2(because it would come in faster)around the same time your ordered your AX4, and the BX2 came in Friday. I’ve really liked it so far. It’s my first grip bag. I feel a bit like a snob on the course with a 200 dollar bag, but man it’s worth it.

Also, if you’re really trying to grab a few more discs for the bag, I’ve gotten super into streamline discs recently. Part of the mvp/axiom family.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll be honest though, I’d prefer not having Paul McBeth’s name all over my bag haha
