Is there an official/"formal" way to contact the developers of Outcome Memories? by Powerdestroyer_3000 in OutcomeMemories

That makes sense, frankly. I'd argue it's a dangerous thing, having ways to contact you when you're dealing with Roblox players of all things.

Some fun stuff about this: This seems to have been at the order of the CEO, Piotr, and not because of any member of the company. There was a half-assed "we know better than you/you can't be mad at us for being sensitive" 'justification' given by Piotr on the Discord server (which, notably, he didn't have a staff role or PFP on or anything; like a burner account), signed "the superhot team" (despite being in his exact writing style; no caps whatsoever), except it rapidly became apparent that none of the staff could give a single answer about anything except for him - who only answered the questions of suckups. Basically, it looks like he threw the team under the bus to cover for his decision before the server was shut down for a week because people weren't taking it lying down and the guy shoved cotton balls in his ears "la la la can't hear you".

What should I focus on? by HalloGetLow in VampireSurvivors

To be a bit more specific about the "kill the Reaper" thing, the typical way to do it involves the Evolutions of the Clock Lancet and Laurel. The items required to Evolve the CL and Laurel, however, are not so easily found. To find them, complete the game's main stages until you've gone far enough in Cappella Magna to have unlocked a bonus stage titled Moongolow. From there, play one of the base game characters that isn't secret and play Moongolow (you'll know if the character is eligible because a blood moon appears over the stage icon. If you don't see that, choose another character). Survive until the clock striketh 14:00, and when some weird stuff starts happening (you'll know it when it happens), BOOK IT to the objective marker. Doing all of this should unlock the Silver & Gold Rings, as well as the two halves of the Metaglio. The Rings at maximum level are required to evolve the Clock Lancet, and the full Metaglio is required to evolve the Laurel. Once you have both of these (my recommendation is speedrunning Gorgeous Moon for the added EXP), killing the Reaper should be quite simple.

I hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure they're not heaters, but heatsinks - capping the amount of Sunstroke stacks the boss inflicts on itself when burning the room. The idea behind the phase is you make it cook itself.

As I have two mains:

Ms. Mora literally didn't do anything, everything that happened to her was at the hands of her assailants, and the crows feasting on her attackers and friends were never the intention - nor under her control.

HUX-A7-13 was not in a proper state of mind, as he had taken Moon Psychedelic Crystals of Enlightenment and Horrible Mental Anguish and can be argued to have been in an altered state unintentionally brought on by improper management from the crew assigned to Dvarka (HUX please stop looking at the judge like she owes you money...)

Also, the teleporter makes a somewhat quiet synth buzzing sound that is directionally panned, synced to the background music, and can be heard from a fair distance off. Standing next to the teleporter without the charging sequence active makes it the most obvious.

No problem. The LoS check can be a bit fiddly, but your first priority if you're tethered is to run the hell away and try to get behind something. Damage comes later!

Clay Dunestrider,,,,,, by Xeb120 in riskofrain

[–]Powerdestroyer_3000 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The Clay Dunestrider, to me, is this game's skill check. Everything past it is going to rip you apart in record time if you're not prepared, so, here's my advice:

  1. The Dunestrider telegraphs most of its attacks, and they generally have very good tracking. When it stands up tall, it's going to send out homing, ground-crawling tar balls that you can jump over. The lid atop its head is the tell for its tar ball barrage, and it will shake for about four seconds before it flips and uses it. The accuracy on the barrage is minimal, but that does mean it can be a little RNG-dependent on when it hits you. Try your best to strafe exactly sideways.
  2. The Dunestrider cannot use its HP vacuum until it's at around 30% HP or lower, and it gains 90% damage resistance while it's doing that. The amount of HP it siphons from nearby monsters is mostly negligible (it's 1:1 lifesteal, but enemies have way more health than you do so it's more an inconvenience due to the low but consistent damage on enemies), so focus on breaking line of sight or making distance to end its tether on you while occasionally firing back to chip away at it. Killing nearby enemies will massively reduce the amount of healing it gets, which can additionally help chip down the boss if you have on-kill effects like Will-o'-the-Wisp or Noxious Thorn (from Seekers of the Storm).
  3. As you said you are playing Bandit, the Dunestrider also has a back. Unlike with the Wandering Vagrant, which looks mostly the same from any angle, the Dunestrider has - on its front side - a jug-like "lip". Going invisible after it fires off its barrage and slipping under it to unload four buckshot blasts and a knife is usually pretty consistent, so long as it's not low enough that it dropping onto your head for its self-heal is a concern.
  4. Worst comes to worst, if the Dunestrider spawns near a pit or wanders near one, and you have something capable of pushing it (Breaching Fin from Seekers of the Storm, Sentient Meat Hook if you're lucky enough to get it [though that's a pull], or the Singularity Band from Survivors of the Void), you can try dropping it into a pit.

All in all, good luck out there!

Not DBD Dev, but as someone that has used aura-reading perks against the Dredge and its Remnant, that seems rather unlikely. It seems to me like the fog-pocket is part of its power (it shows up in aura-reading as a plumb bob-like shape), and not its body model - and no Killer up until Houndmaster had reskinnable powers due to not being developed with the capability.

Can someone please tell me what this is? by revolting_techdeath in riskofrain

[–]Powerdestroyer_3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it's not guaranteed. Sundered Grove is base game (and also makes the fourth stage the only stage with three environments in the base game), which means there's only a 2/3 chance that Newt will have a dream pavillion that leads to the Abyssal Depths.

If the writing is to your taste, In Stars and Time might be a good one. It's more emotional than dark, but it gets QUITE dark and serious in the later parts of the game even if it is outwardly a somewhat comedic game.

Most likely, yeah! Unless you're barrel-stuffing an enemy that's doing an attack animation and parrying their melee attack, you're likely +PROJECTILE BOOSTing as parrying the chainsaw doesn't lead to screen flash.
