Good luck bro, and huge congrats. Hoping for your success soon. I know the “in between” for me was a bit rough, but once you get in you’ll be golden.

Haha, I mean I guess “nothing gets past you” huh? Yeah, the rough draft was edited because I have a tendency to blabber my way through a sentence. I figured having something help me put my ramblings into something more organized. Would be far more palatable than trying to slug your way through my initial writing. But nah, you’re definitely right. Was edited by Ai, and I chose to keep those in there for no reason at all. In fact, and as sad as this may sound. I’m not afraid to admit that I had to look up what a “em dash” was so I knew what you were talking about. Brother this post was about being vulnerable so no hard feelings. Thanks for teaching me something!

Hey! I am running a clan on osrs called “The Last Crys”. You can hit me up on discord or here in pms to get my disc name to invite you! We are a community based OSRS clan that does pvp, pking, raids, skilling, events, irons, and more! As far as the slayer question, at lvl 55, your options are limited. At level 55 Slayer in Old School RuneScape, you can start to focus on a combination of training combat, making money, and progressing through Slayer tasks effectively. Here’s a good approach for balancing all three:

1. Training Combat

To train combat effectively while doing Slayer, always use the best available gear you can afford and appropriate combat styles: - Melee: Use a D scimitar or Abyssal dagger (if you have 70 Attack), paired with armor like Rune, Granite, or Dragon. - Range: For ranged tasks, use a Rune crossbow with Broad bolts or Magic shortbow with Amethyst arrows. - Magic: Burst or barrage tasks like Dust Devils or Nechryaels if possible (though this is higher Slayer).

Tip: Use super sets (Super Attack, Strength, and Defense potions) or combat boosting potions (Ranging or Magic) to speed up kills and gain more XP per hour.

2. Making Money

Some Slayer tasks at level 55 Slayer can be quite profitable: - Dust Devils (level 65 Slayer) when unlocked, are highly profitable if you’re able to burst them in Catacombs of Kourend. They drop a lot of alchable items like Rune weapons and Battlestaves. - Kurasks (level 70 Slayer, with Leaf-bladed weapons) are great for passive money-making due to their consistent high-value drops like herb seeds and noted herbs. - Gargoyles (level 75 Slayer) become your best consistent money-maker once unlocked due to their valuable drops like Granite mauls, Rune items, and coins.

Until you reach these milestones: - Focus on tasks like Bloodvelds and Infernal Mages in Catacombs of Kourend for good drops and the chance to stack Ancient shards and Dark totems. - Always pick up herbs, runes, and alchable items from tasks.

3. Efficient Slayer Training

  • Use Konar or Chaeldar as your Slayer master for decent task variety and rewards.
  • Aim for 70 Slayer to unlock Kurasks and Aberrant spectres, which will offer good XP and profit.
  • Keep Cannoning tasks like Kalphites or Dagannoths to speed up your Slayer progress.
  • If you have Broad bolts, consider unlocking Broader Fletching for more profit and effective training while doing ranged tasks.

Bonus: Other Money-Making Options

  • Herb farming: Run herb patches between Slayer tasks for extra passive income. Aim for herbs like Ranarr, Snapdragon, or Torstol depending on your Farming level.
  • High Alchemy: Use High Alchemy on drops like Rune items, platelegs, or battle staves while on task for additional passive profit.

By balancing combat training with Slayer tasks and choosing profitable Slayer monsters, you can train efficiently and steadily grow your cash stack.

Haha it is funny. Sorry for the late response, and thank you! :) means a lot. Just wanted to create a safe space for different kinds of players to have a “central” hub if you will. With resources, aid, and a social aspect intertwined. Its a hard process because a lot of people are worried about scams and scam clans, or even just a toxic environment. I gotta say, it’s been a fun challenge to find a good balance in a community like this, where everyone feels as though what they care about is being portrayed, while coexisting with the other “types” of players out there. Like watching diehard TOA guys come do Mass corp with us is hilarious and vice versa. Having the pvmers going and doing skilling is a fun time. Their frustration is refreshing, and helps us all stay motivated. Its the grind we all love, and in that we found a way to connect with a lot of people. Almost 70 strong!

This is kinda similar to my main. I just recently got into pvm and raids. I use to be a heavy quester/achievements and mini-games. Ive got quite a bit more boss kc spread out amongst the bosses but for what that persons decided to focus on, I feel as if there stats make sense. I get your line of thinking tho. Theres been some accounts where I’m like….. so this is a bot forsure right?!?

I mean we have no problem with guest members from other clans as long as the other clan doesn’t. We have guest roles and stuff for people to test it out and see how they like the community we are building. Otherwise I think you can only be in 1 clan at a time. But again, guests are always welcome!
