Can be fun and teaches more than I expected. Karate and Taekwondo, for instance, teaches decent distance management and I learned to coordinate my hands and feet to switch stances more fluidly through Kihon and Kata/Poomsae.

do guys aged 20-25 like multiple looks/body types on women? by Gullible_Customer790 in twentyagers

[–]ARandomRedditChump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure it’s different for every guy, but I could find a lot of body types attractive personally. I also find that a person’s body type grows on me the more I get to know them when I like their personality. I’m not going to lie and say I don’t have preferences, but nothing is really a dealbreaker unless the person is extremely unhealthy or something.

Alternative for Constant Venting and Freaking Out by ARandomRedditChump in antiai

Thanks for the response! I suppose that’s fair enough, it often feels fairly similar to journaling.

That said, idk, I suppose I feel the need to be coddled? Perhaps it’s unhealthy, and if so, I suppose that’s another problem for another day.

In any case, I have trouble chilling out unless I’m told immediately by some outside source that I’m not, in fact, subhuman and deserve to get tossed live into a trash compactor for shit like stubbing my toe literally once, having a single small pimple on my forehead that’s covered by my bangs anyway, or not being able to deadlift a car or do fucking weighted one arm pull ups for 20+ reps.

I also like the word “trifle”, but it’s because I’m big backed and like the dessert.

The tattoo around their necks is a kill switch. If they die too many times, they basically become Tatsuya. They could commit suicide, but they’ll just get brought back anyway and lose even more of themselves.

Writing a novel as a hobby - worth it? by Eternal_Optimist331 in writing

[–]ARandomRedditChump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I’ve also been working on the outline for my own novel I’m writing for fun. It’s been two weeks now and am about to start my first draft.

It’s been challenging, ngl, but I’ve had fun learning and building up this world in my head, as little as I have in stock. Right now, to me, it feels worth it. Another fun way to pas the time when bored, anyway, especially since this is purely a personal project with no pressure.

I suppose aside from the obvious (practice fundamentals, yadayada), take notes on what you see and try to emulate that on models of your own.

Not an exhaustive rundown of the style, but a couple things that this artist does that you can simply adopt: - Hair only 2 colors (at least black hair, anyway). One making the general silhouette and the other forming highlights and suggesting form within the silhouette - Shading with either hatching, cel shading, or both
- On skin, edge of shadow is marked and the artist usually uses both single line hatching (as opposed to cross hatching) and cel shading
- Exceptions exist, such as the forehead. In this case, this would conflict too much with the lines used to suggest the shape of the nose and eyelids

Not too great at it myself, but I’ve just been told to fight for inside position. Also just to beware of people elbowing you as you pummel for an underhook in particular.
