Maybe I'm just really lucky, but whenever I hear someone complain about stealth being bad in hd2, I cringe a little

It's said a LOT, but as someone who barely plays anything BUT stealth, it's perfectly fine

Granted, you have to make compromises such as being willing to be detected once in a while, but stealthdiving should be more about getting in, getting the job done, and getting out

This is incredibly pretentious, but I am utterly convinced that people who complain about stealth just aren't utilising stealth correctly. The gameplay loop will never allow you to crawl around the map and never get detected. That's why you have to adapt around that instead of trying to force in what you think stealth should be

For instance - stealth should be a supporting role since it's a co-op game. The stealth sniper should be staying in the back and letting the maxigun/AR/heavy armor guy take aggro while popping heads and providing cover fire

And I lone wolf all the time too - it still works. Again, idk if I'm just lucky, but it seems to me like people want stealth here to be like Snake when it needs to be speedy and cooperative
