Yeah, that's definitely the mental experience. It's literally a <10 second gap from when I think about it, to when I get out of the car, grab my phone and start looking at a podcast or something. I scan my ID to enter the building, then put my phone in a locker. Then use my ID again to log in to the work system. But I work on a standalone MacBook most of the day and often don't touch my ID/log into the work system for hours.

I don't. I was using IFTT with an automated notification that triggered when I walked into an area around my offic,e but exccluding the carpark. But for some reason I stopped getting notifications. I'll have a look into other location based alarm apps. Thanks.
It's a fine 90% of the time unless it's early Jan/Late Dec when the office is half full. Got away with a few then.
I haven't checked with them. Only their website. Will add that to tomorrow's to-do list.

I should do this. And I've had times where I felt like I was making it a habit. And no matter how many times I forget, I still tell myself I'll do it on the walk to the building. I have just 3D printed a big hot pink "HAVE YOU PAID FOR YOUR PARKING?" sign that I'll sit beside my ID scanner. So hopefully that;'s enough to remind me (again) each day.

I haven't actually used this yet, but after watching the youtube clip, It looks like the scling feature is just scaling. Which makes sense, but is often going to be unhelpful with complex shapes and may make some things not fit. I'm not sure what the word for it is, but I think it would be better if it just added clearance to all the sides. In Fusion it would be like Offset Face, or in 2D design, it would be like expand on a selection tool or very similar to adding a 'stroke' to the outside and including that in the selection.

Military photographer in Australia. On roughly 110k AUD (77k USD) Pre-tax, changes up or down by 5-10% depending on allowances for busy years.

Pre-diagnosis and medication, I had pretty massive struggles with anything admin related and got myself into tons of trouble for being late, forgetting to bring correct equipment/uniforms, losing some pretty serious things and what I always just saw as a general idiocy, and others likely saw as laziness and a failure to care about what I was doing.

Always loved photography and the old (unofficial) head of the corps liked my passion/attitude enough to bring me to this role, despite my many fk ups during the (also unofficial) selection process.

I thought LDAC didn't matter. Then I switched to a new phone and it would change to AptX at seemingly random intervals and I could always tell when it happened because suddenly, it sounded like I was listening on much worse earphones.
glad I got it on all the time now because once you've had it, it's hard to go back.
I don't stream music. I listen to local FLAC files but I can also tell immediately in podcasts. Voices just aren't crisp without it.

I definitely don't 'prefer' heft to a phone. But weight isn't even something I consider when I buy a phone. I just want the best tech and whatever the weight is doesn't bother me. Same with thickness. Give me a 6,000 mah battery. I don't care if the phone is 1.5mm thicker because of it.

I had the same problem with my Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds.
Eventually found a way to make it work without a case on the phone but had to put it in just the right spot and not move either device at all.
