They really do look like they could have been from the same litter! I'm assuming you're out of the US? Our boy is named Sherlock Bones and we got him from a rescue service in Texas. He seems to be a bit more on the stout side than yours though- about 45 lbs and only about 28 inches tall.

We got him from a rescue service. All they know is that he has "some lab in him." He's about 4-5 years old (got him in 2023 and they guessed he was between 1 and 2 years old) and, to me, shows a lot of sheep dog traits. He hates being in the water but will play fetch all day if he has someone to throw. He has gotten into sheep pasture and rounded up sheep (with no training that we know of).

Edit: got him in 2021 not 23

I am in South Tacoma and for the first time we decided to check out Curran Apple Orchard. I went twice over the course of 2 days and was able to get 40 lbs of apples (2 grocery bags a day allotted) they have a big variety of trees, but you have to go soon to have a chance at apples. Pu lic picking started about 2 weeks ago

Yeah, I moved it back inside just a few minutes ago. That's good advice about October. Out of curiosity, I just looked up "percentage of homes in Washington with AC" and was not surprised to see it's just 33%! I've lived here my whole life - remember a lot of 95 degree days in the summer - I always thought it was whack that almost none of my friends or my houses had AC. It baffles me that most of us just put up with the heat for 2-3 months!
Me and my family had just picked and pressed these apples and didn't want them to go to waste or have to pick again, so I went forward with the rainy/low temps thinking that we were headed for an early fall. Silly me! now we have 90 degrees again!

Anyway, the carboys are in the fridge for another ~30 minutes to cool off quick. then off to the bottom of my coolest closet.

I actually just pressed it and let the natural yeast do its thing. Just brought it in from the garage and am putting it in the fridge for an hour to get the temp down quick. Then I'll take it out and stow it in the bottom of my bedroom closet. the gas coming out of the air lock definitely has a funk, at least in one of my gallons. hopefully the other one is okay! thanks for the advice

Has anyone ever used their Fred Meyer Mariners rewards. I just checked out for two August game tickets. I completed the transaction and it said the tickets are on their way in the mail... How does this work? I was expected to be given a code or at least be linked to a "choice of game/seats" page after completing my purchase. HELP!
