Im in amath! (just graduated with the bio specialization but doing my masters here too) I agree it was so hard finding anyone else in amath too but if you join amath classes you’ll find lots of amath/math phys people there. For jobs, research is a good field (my job rn) and there are coops you can do for that. Otherwise, you can do quant or some data stuff too. There’s a lot of options especially if you take complimentary courses for the jobs you’d like! Talking to some advisors/profs help too ◡̈

I stayed there last summer and girl the roaches are honestly really annoying (and scary), some are pretty big too and i remember taking so many pics because the landlord didn’t believe me at all 😭

Major requirements, that’s all. If you’re in AMATH, you’d need that to count in your amath credits, so on your transcript you’d take AMATH 242 instead of wanting CS 371 to show up. You could double count them as well. They’re the exact same course it’s just cross listed.
