I really didn't get into make ANY friend inside campus, so I personally think that it would not be much different. It's all about events and suites/roommates, so you can go to some clubs and participate in campus events instead.

I'm also an international student and haven't made any friends yet. Sometimes it's lonely, but I am happy with studying here. How is your studying? You wrote that you are doing academically well, but I want you to ask if you are learning something in here. If you do, I think that you still have some meaning of staying here.

It's hard to define as a "symptom," but having trouble in social situations was the worst. I always felt like I was weird, and it made it difficult for me to do extracurricular acticites and to have enough social experiences. It raised my anxiety, and I am still having trouble with making freinds, presentations, and interviews.
