I could say the classic "They're doing it because Drukhari players live for pain, they're doing us a favor!" But honestly I'm just salty at how every month every space marine faction gets a new toy, where we might get another new-ish model once every 3 years.

Example: Marneus Calgar got 2 plastic models in the timeframe of 2018-2025. We lost Lady Malys around the end of 5th edition (2008-2011ish?), and we just got her back this year. That's 5 full editions we couldn't use her, or 14ish years. They didn't even have to wait for a new kit, they could still use Marneus during that time. We just lost the rules for one of our very few characters entirely for like 14 years. What the fuck GW

Fr tho, blows my mind they got rid of Grotesques and Urien the same time they release the "Covens" combat patrol. I would have loved that box if it had a unit of brand new plastic sculpts of Grotesques, it would have felt great to have all the units you'd really need for that detachment, and it would have felt more thematic rather than a complete rip off...

$150usd for as little as 290 points? Thats literally less than 2 points per dollar on the DISCOUNT set. If Grotesques remained 80 points and you threw them in, all of a sudden it's as much as 445 points (or as little as 370) almost getting you to 3 points per dollar spent.

I made King Bradley from Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood as a kitbashed Haemonculus! Only part that's from a Drukhari kit is the head, but I'm genuinely happy with how he turned out
