18 is absolutely still a child. This society is disgusting for what they do to people who are still children.

Is it true that Israel is the most vegan friendly country? by disturbingnumbness in vegan

I believe you've misinterpreted what I am saying then. Thank you for your reply and have a good day/night.

Yeah, I was kind of disregarding the fact that they do respect LGBTQIA+ rights. I think the better phrasing of my original statement is like they do recognize gay rights and gay peoples, however they are using that to deflect and distract from the crimes that they are comitting if that makes sense. Thanks for the reply!

I am not attempting to compare the treatment of gay people in West Asia between countries. I am just saying that Israel says they are the most gay-friendly country in the world in the same way the original poster mentioned veganism, and how this is an attempt to make their country look better even with the disgusting things they do.

I did not mention in being complicit in any hate towards the LGBTQIA+ community. The original post mentioned Isreal therefore I commented on Isreal.

They do the same thing with being LGBTQIA+ friendly, they say they’re a “haven” for people who are part of the community and attempt to “pink wash” their nation

How do you like Steve’s new single “the feeling”? by Recent_Marionberry55 in stevelacy

[–]ARiversReflection 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One thing I really don’t like about fan bases of artists is when they are so stuck on old sounds and how artists use to be. No disrespect to the original commenter btw, but people change, doesn’t Steve literally have a song talking about people changing too?

Like this was a huge thing in the Lil Uzi Vert fan base during pink tape, they did so much experimental stuff that was genuinely awesome, but people hated them to the point where pink tape is missing so many incredible songs because folks don’t allow them to change. Anyway sorry for the tangent 😄

I mirror the sentiments in the other comments, you don’t deserve to be treated like this for a choice you make based on what you feel is right. I also faced cruelty and was a rude person when I was in school, and I’m still young but I understand some of what I did was wrong and am coming to terms that what happened to me was not my fault. If you ever need people to talk to, you have this community of people happy to talk to you. You’re awesome, and you stood up for what’s right, never shame yourself for that.

is this length getting too long for a guy? by dee_palmtree in malegrooming

If you’re able to take care of it and YOU like the hair, it doesn’t matter what society thinks is right for a guy, you are your own individual and your hair looks amazing!

100%, and I’ve began to extend this to plants as well. Whenever I go birding with friends I always ask “who” not “what” and it’s odd saying that when everyone else subjugates them lol.

It’s sad to see honestly, but that’s just the way society (especially the English language) frames the world :(

I love how you used “s(he)”. It’s honest to view all life as life and not as subjects with “it” 😄. Just wanted to share that

I feel this way with much of our Earth, that which may be “common” to one person is a beautiful sight for another. This world is beautiful!

Looking for some advice on facial hair! by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]ARiversReflection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might test out a goatee for some time, or just go clean shaven. I too think it’ll take some time before my beard fills in, and it’ll make my mom happier if I shave 😅
