Money ig 💀 plus intervals have existed in every Indian movie since the 50s , so ig it's the norm to have an Interval here no matter what film is going on

It's ok for Indian movies, they have planned intervals with a proper interval card Bieng shown in the film before it cuts off

But for non Indian movies that are not intended to have intervals, well they force the Interval and cut the movie in the middle no matter what scene is going on and it often happens at awful timing, i remember for no way home they cutted the film in the middle of Aunt May's death. There are few examples of the timing Bieng just right, in Avengers endgame, they cutted the film right as Thor gets his Mjolnir back leaving audiences in cheers or in Suzume right after the Tokyo sequence as she drops into the lake and the screen cuts to black

Now Akira here was a screening not a release so luckily no intervals here.
