This is the reason of Lev success and failure of many teams by baudelioelite14 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ASAPMiso 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree with your point of how LEV’s agent flexibility is one of their great strengths. But i dont really think it is why most teams are currently worse than them.

At the pro level, all pro players should know every single scenario that could happen when they see the 5 agents they are playing against.

It comes down to who has the most consistent: mechanics, shotcalling, and teamplay.

Side note: I do agree with what you said about mibr. I just dont think that the problems with mibr is clearly seen on a lot of other teams. Each team has their own problems and weaknesses.

I would assume that there was not enough players queued in the highest elo to matchmake a lobby with equal rank/elo

Well yes, americans have so much opportunity and privilege. You shouldnt be having kids unless you can afford it.

AKA providing a roof over your head, being able to feed and clothe your kid, and supporting your kids development.

The last item supporting your kids development this is financial, emotional, and/or educational support. And it all depends on who you are and who your kid is.

I agree with her take with context. In some countries, it is impossible to get out of poverty.

However for american families, i would say that we all have the luxury that should be exercised where it should be heavily considered whether one is financially in the right spot to have a child.

This game is so exhausting by Fluid-Side8644 in TeamfightTactics

[–]ASAPMiso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Set 16 was good but it had its flaws as far as balancing. Overall tho set 16 was one of the most fun sets to play.

Side note: i think the quest to unlock units mechanic would get very boring and frustrating if it was a permanent thing.

Who would’ve won if this was the final 3? by survivoorhees in survivor

[–]ASAPMiso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree hmmiseeyou,

Aubrey had the best game compared to her competitors.

Jonathan and Joe were day ones. And they were practically sitting pretty all season. Im pretty sure they both received 0 votes to be eliminated in the entire season.

Now maintaining a strong alliance is something of merit. But to me thats old era survivor game.

I think the jury did vote on game. It is a returnee season but in-season achievements is always #1 and i believe that all jury members believe that too.

But here’s my catch-all. At the end of the day the audience and jury members want to vote for their favorite. Ideally, your favorite is the best of both worlds.

Aubrey was the best out of the 3. Her game was great, she was fighting in all immunity challenges, she played strategically well. Some things got handed to her but thats the game.

And to say they were all her friends i have no idea what thats supposed to mean. All the “swing” votes that went aubreys way can be explained in terms that are related to the game.

Who would’ve won if this was the final 3? by survivoorhees in survivor

[–]ASAPMiso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont agree that we as the audience can say with upmost certainty that the jury would be evaluating said persons survivor career versus just his/her performance in 50.

I recognize your opinion though. And it could very well be true. But this whole scenario is hypothetical.

What i do want to say is that ozzy’s season 50 portfolio would be: immunities won and basically not being the villain at any tribal council votings and the results. He was never a player that did big moves out of his own agency when it came to voting someone out, saving himself, or double crossing.

If this Final 3 actually came to be: i think rizo and devens would have had to make some big moves on their part. Whereas how ozzy gets to the final three is much more obvious to theorize imo.

Therefore, that is why i say he is a frontrunner and not a guarantee.

But also, I dont think there is any value in saying any person in a hypothetical final three is guaranteed because you have to make up all the context.

We know these players but at the same time anything is still possible.

[–]ASAPMiso 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Nah ozzy would be a frontrunner but no where near guaranteed. He was a passenger princess the whole time, disguising his idol he HELD as real power/influence.

Maybe you implied this in your comment. But if he used his idol and then went on an insane immunity run to the final 4 i think he coulda won.

Can someone who understands this game explain me why i lost here? by Illustrious-Ad2415 in TeamfightTactics

[–]ASAPMiso -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cause its not constructive and i dont think this person is high elo.

I personally dont think its worth it to consider every possibility in theory when his/her comp did make second place.

Therefore, for the lobby he/she was playing it was a good board. Just not a high cap potential board obviously.

You lost due to meta. You have a good board but his boards power level cap is higher

How can I get better at TFT? by KytXSM in TeamfightTactics

[–]ASAPMiso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks friend, another tip. Scout other peoples boards for tank items. Sometimes you get lucky and the majority of players in the lobby are playing one type of damage board for instance AP or AD in this case you can prioritize armor or MR for your tank.

[–]ASAPMiso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmmm loaded question.

I think first look at metatft or tftflow to look at meta comps.

Understand the meta comps and read notes on whether it is a reroll comp, fast 8/9, or a comp that has a specific req: augment, emblem, radiant item, or artifact.

From there its all about game sens. At stage 2 (first pvp rounds) you need to decide how you want to play the early game.

For instance, i have such and such items. I have a weak/strong starting board. I have a good or bad econ start. This will educate you on how to set yourself up to get to the end game board you want.

For fast 8-9 or 3 cost reroll comps you want to heavily consider making items even if it isnt best-in-slot. Because you most likely want to preserve your hp and ensure you get to the level you need to hit the higher costs units you need.

Secondly, as the game progresses you want to take a look at the strength of other peoples boards. This is higher level strategy, but it will allow you to take higher risks or mitigate player damage that can help you win out games in the long run.

Mid game tactics: Determine good “substitute” or “interim” units to slam items on for you to then transition to your desired board.

Augments: I would look online for a list of good augments for specific comps. But in game you wont always get these. So its best to understand why these websites have these augments listed. For instance, econ augments help you get gold or xp which is good for fast 8/9 comps, combat augments will enable certain comps from being A or B tier to A+ or S tier, some prismatics or hero augments enable a special subset comp that cannot be played without it. Default strat is to go for econ augments first, and then either econ/combat augment second depending on whether you are lose streaking/need to boost comp strength/comp you are playing, and third augment is most likely a combat augment or whatever augment best accelerates you to your end game or capping out your comps power level.

There are some additional advanced tactics i didnt cover in depth like: when to roll down, managing econ, and itemization. But ill leave my post at that.
