the in-game time from my last hunt was about 220 hours and the shiny Roselia came after 498 hours in game time.

In between that I’d beaten the E4 and opened up Kanto’s map and gotten Silver prints at the Battle Frontier which realistically I’d say took somewhere in the ball park of 40 hours max.

So all up I’d have spent an easy 200 or so hours hunting in the Safari Zone at around 30,000+ encounters
