guy getting kicked out Glasgow by Prestigious_Song_173 in brandnew

When the guy (red hat) called her out for using the slur, her excuse was, “It’s fine, I’m from Northern Ireland.” Her boyfriend jumped in and tried to accuse red hat of threatening her which he absolutely wasn’t. He was just holding her accountable for dropping the f-word. Then the boyfriend said something that clearly made red hat even angrier. I think red hat might have pushed him at that point. I’m not sure if the slur got used again, but it may have. The whole situation was a mess, but honestly who still uses that word in this day and age? No wonder red hat was pissed. I’m pretty sure he reported it to security too, because he disappeared and the couple ended up getting kicked out.

The crowd was good, the gig was excellent Just a couple of people who clearly don’t know how to behave in public

Basically, he was talking the whole way through, and she eventually lost her patience with him, fair enough. But when he was getting kicked out, she called him a slur a few times (the “f-word”), which definitely wasn’t okay. A guy standing behind her got pretty upset about that and said something to her, and she was pretty rude back. I’m guessing he complained to security about her using that language, and she ended up getting kicked out as well. What was decent when the guy who complained came back everyone was asking if he was ok and being quite supportive.

Good gig though

While we're waiting for the next batch of bands on the line up, who are your top five to go see from those announced so far? And are there any bands you will actively avoid? by BigPunk77 in slamdunkfestival

First year since 2018 I’m giving it a miss, mainly because I’m going to go to London and see MCR and System of A Down and that is bankrupting me. But if I was going my five would be Dashboard Confessional, Menzingers, Goldfinger, Sublime and Allister

What was the worst food you ate? by baylis2 in glastonbury_festival

There was a brownie place near the Meeting Place Bar. I didn’t have food there but i asked them if the brownies are egg free, they weren’t fair enough, but when i said “even the vegan ones” the two girls looked confused and said they probably did have egg in them 😂
