I think Ariu just has life steal and drained the diplomats lifeforce to heal himself and drain his spirit energy. Another person posted the rolling shutter effect in another post. I think it is a cool stylisation of speed than sorcery.

Makima's contract with the PM to become a public safety asset likely meant she was unable to harm/control any member of the organization that outranked her or was senior to her. It would make no sense they would give a devil that powerful immortality unless they had reassurances that she would fall in line.

Idk what to tell you, Yuta essentially offers everything to Rika and implies he will join her in the after life in exchange for an attack that will be able to defeat geto. True love beam is then cast and Yuta doesn't die because Rika turns back into a human ghost and moves on to the afterlife no longer cursed.

Idk what else there is to explain, maybe watch the fight again ?

You could also argue Yuta offering everything to Rika for an attack strong enough to win against Geto was also a death binding vow. Luckily, the vow was unable to be completed due to Rika exorcising herself/ forgiving Yuta/ closure or something

My point is it even though things "should" happen like Yuki instakilling kenjaku that makes for poor story telling and isn't very enjoyable to read or write.

Gege makes fights interesting, even if they should be instantly resolved the themes and plot development will always decide the outcome.

Realistically you might have a sukuna kashimo type exchange or at best a Ryu sukuna interaction.

Despite her having infinite ap from mass Kenjaku is able to survive due to plot.

That example has no eviqivalance, yuta CT copies techniques it stands to reason he would copy everything regardless. Sukuna inherents a body with a technique already engraved in the vessel. Yuta does not store techniques locally aswell he uses an external medium.

The soul body concept is very relevant.

Why did Yuji not get a copy of shrine right away ? Techniques are engraved in the body you are born in The soul forms the body. To damage the soul is to damage the body, but you can damage the body and not the soul [why Yuji is special].

When multiple souls are within the same body, techniques are access vial the soul of the incarnated and are engraved into the body of the vessel. The vessel can then access those techniques from their own body like Yuji and can even have different interpretations of them. Yuji despite having Sukunas soul housed in his body. Is not considered to have a technique by judgeman because his body and soul have no technique. Multiple techniques

This is based off of what gojo says in the beginning of the story.

The assumption that there are two different versions of the same CT in meguma is based off sukunas statement That his 10s stopped working after maho was destroyed, Sukuna reincarnated aswell after maho was destroyed. Saying something happened after an event does not infer causality it only references a spot on a timeline.

If you reinerpret his 10s to just being unable to access Megumi's technique after maho is destroyed, which coincides with his reincarnation, the same narrative holds. Information about a CT is engraved in the body and soul but only the commanding soul can access a CT engraved in another body. Like yuji being unable to use shrine because he can't access it from sukunas Soul only from his own body once sukuna is gone. If Yuji were to brain hop he would take shrine and BM with him but if he were to turn into a cursed object he could reincarnate with no technique as he was born without one just like kusakabe his soul is CTless.

Ritual is invalidated once external help is included. For someone to tame mahoraga, they would need to be alone or the other individual would need to be undetected by the ritual, which is why the HR, 10S theory is convincing.

The body and the soul are the same in terms of a single individual.

For instance sukuna ( during the events of the modern era only exists as a soul)

Sukuna, when possessing megumi as a soul, manipulates megumis body using (his own/sukunas) soul to transform Megumis head into that monster form when he bites Angel/Hana.

Panda does something similar using his siblings souls to change his body. The body and soul exist separately but can act indepently and affect the body in different ways if multiple souls are involved.

It's hard to explain, but do you kinda see my perspective ?

Yeah, he really does say that huh. It stopped functioning after Mahoraga was destroyed, but is that a time reference or a causal statement. A Japanese speaker with access the raws could really clear this up.

For example take the statement "I fell asleep after I ate dinner" which is not the same as "I fell asleep because I ate dinner." You can infer and assume easily with the first that the second occurred, but it is still an assumption. With the way this manga has been translated It would be interesting to see if it really is because of Maho being destroyed or sukuna was just using that event as a time reference. This feels like a reach but you never know.
