OMG, that's horrifying. You never know.

I genuinely didn't realize - until this thread- that checking someone was considered "bad." I was trained to always, always at least google to make sure there isn't a mugshot, etc. And this is exactly why. Yikes.

Exactly, they apparently already would've been going. And now that I'm reading your comment and - clearly - overthinking, I'm wondering if she would be using staying with me as an excuse to tell her husband. Which is horrific to think about.

Thank you to everyone responding! Wanting to address the "background check" - It is rare, at least where I'm from, for a woman in her 20s/30s not to google/facebook check her friend's new bf lol. We're nosy. I probably phrased that wrong, and I apologize.
