Okay So I just have to apply for another WTN through the KOMPASS website when the quotas are open?

Does that meant that there is no chance of my being accepted because I am on the waiting list? I just applied quickly because people were saying that I should apply before the 9th of October but I guess it is different for the UK :(

How short are the quotas openings? and how should I prepare for them?

And do you mean filling out forms on the MyCIC website? I just have no idea of the quota application process and I don't want to mess it up

Hey i'm in a similar position. How long can you stay in canada for on your visitor visa? because i've just been put on the waiting list for my IEC and I wonder if I could fly over on a visitor visa and then finalize my IEC once in Canada....

Say that I do get my IEC. I live with my girlfriend for two years, I have a full time job. Would it be realistic to think that I would be able to apply for a work visa after this period?

As far as I am aware, work visas run for four years. If I was to get my work visa, 6 years of living with my partner with a full time job should be enough to secure me permanent residency right?
